Today was mine and my best friend first time checking this store out . It was annoying though because instead of being able to enjoy our time checking out all the different things this place had to offer the cashier kept constantly passing by where we were at and asking us to excuse him so we kept having to move. This happened more than 4 times. 🙁 we just ended up grabbing one quick thing and left . We don’t make any plans to come back . It was a bit annoying trying to take our time and having it interrupted constantly by him.
Oriental Market has variety. Great products on hand. If you like ramen or stir fry noodles, they have a good variety. If you want beverages, they have them. If you want snacks, they have chips and crackers. If you want candie, they got some. If you want fish, duck, chicken, and pork, they have it. Assortment of teas. Wrappers to make rolls. Even ready to go Lumpia Rolls. Definitely worth checking it out. Worth the trip.
Small oriental market with lots of asian products that can't be found in other grocery stores. Prices are accessible even though they're imported. Here you can find tofu, noodles, kimchi, fresh and dehydrated veggies (like seaweed and shiitake mushrooms), imported fish, instant ramen, asian condiments like curry, oyster sauce, palm sugar, etc... and even candies. They accept both cash and cards (if you pay with card, there's a small charge though). Staff is very friendly. Definitely we'll come back.
So we finally made it to the new Oriental Market in Laredo, let me tell you, this place is awesome, and the staff is amazing, we got some Korean mozzarella and fish Corn-dogs and they are amazing, not to mention the rice cakes. I highly recommend this place, if you are an Asian food lover as myself this pace is a little paradise
South Texas Oriental Store is heaven-sent for us Filipinos in Laredo. It offers a variety of Pinoys’ food items. Many are my personal favorites. Today, Hubby and I did our 4th shopping trip since it opened. It was mainly to buy the walis tambo (soft broom) but we ended up buying a lot more…. just can’t help it. Tyrone, the cashier, was happy to show us the frozen meat and the purple yam. He seems to enjoy his job there; I can tell by his pleasant demeanor. A good number of shoppers were also shopping and that simply shows great patronage of this store by Laredoans. And for that I am joyfully proud of you. Blessings and many more customers be given to y’all.
Thrilled that we finally got an Asian Market. I can now buy frozen lumpia, a variety of sauces, candied, and cookies that you cannot find anywhere else. Bonus: they carry adult beverages from Korea. Highly recommend a visit.
Small selection of oriental items. Very friendly and polite service e.
