Skin and Cancer Center of Arizona - CHANDLER

I wish the customer service of this place was better, but it is worthy of only one star at best. When calling, hold times are always very excessive. Often, you'll eventually be forwarded to a voice mail that says to leave a message. Of course, the voice mail box says it's full and will accept no messages. It's been this way for over a year. The patient portal is also broken - as a patient, I receive emails that say to check my patient portal for important messages, but when I go there, I'm told that there are no records of me as a patient. I've asked Skin and Center Center to correct this, but they haven't. It's too bad customer service is so bad because they have some terrific staff like Hillary Reznick. Maybe someone will see this bad review and will make an effort to contact me. If so, I'll edit this review accordingly.

UPDATE: Finally was able to book an appointment with the facility. Thank you for explaining the phone system issue. I change my rating to five stars, because the staff was amazing and the doctor who I saw was top tier, and they really do seem to take my concerns to heart. If you want to feel cared for, this is the place to go 🥰 Wow!! Been trying to speak to someone since Friday by phone to schedule an appointment? Like others have said...trying to reach someone by phone is wild! After 11 minutes on hold, you will get disconnected after waiting twice for a representative, before they switch you over to leave a voice message AND GUESS WHAT? The mailbox is full for extension #111 🫣 So I sent them an e-mail, and hope I will hear back from them soon. If not, I just might have to go to the office in person. Please hire more people to handle the high volume of calls. This is not how a business should operate regarding patients.

I like Dr. Neil Fernandes and he provides great care. I have been a patient of record for many years but dealing with his office and staff is challenging at best. Today, I called to reschedule my appointment. The call took 20 minutes and I was put on hold twice to find a new date for a regular check up. The first date she offered, I was out of town - so, she said she'd have to put me on hold again. Why? When she came back she said, "this is what I have for you" - it was a 'take it or leave it' attitude. When I asked why she kept putting me on hold, she said she was working the phones alone and was checking in patients at the same time. I don't understand that - just complete the call with me and move on to the next person. Very frustrating - horrible customer service - which I have read several times in other reviews here.

Tammi and Dr Fernandez were wonderful in responding to my request for help!! My 91 year old friend was at a rehabilitation facility after hip surgery and Tammi and Fernandez responded immediately sending detailed orders for treatment on my his scalp. Thanks so much!!

Had a consultation at the Chandler office after appt at Queen Creek office. Both physical facilities are lovely and well maintained. More importantly, the staff at both were extremely friendly and helpful. My consultation with the physician went well and everything was well explained to me. Nothing but positive experiences at both locations. I highly recommend SCC for all your dermatology needs.

Danielle has been friendly, professional, kind and does the best work! My ProFractional took a few years off my old face and her facials make me glow! I highly recommend!

Called this facility as a new patient requesting appointment. Their phone system is not up and running properly. First try, I could not enter a number from their option menu. Second try it worked! But the receptionist could not hear me talking and they hung up. So…. I looked at reviews. Appears to be a lingering problem with their phone system.
