Dr. Setarah was so darn thorough and straight forward. She was informative and knowledgeable and took the time to listen to me as well. Everyone in the office put me at ease. Lupe is my girl! She let me laugh through my tears. Kim was great with my Xrays and images and the brunette woman who did my crown, was so amazing and gentle. Thankfully I am no longer dreading the dentist. I know I'm in good hands. Thank you so much.

The way this SCAM of a dental business treated my mother is a shame!!! Be warned Simi Valley!!!! This dental office is a bait & switch, rude business out to mislead & scam people, especially the elderly. Don’t believe what they advertise. I hope this places tanks for how terribly they treated my mother, who made an appointment for the cleaning advertised in the window for $59.95 & explained what insurance she had when making the appointment & also at her appointment. However, when she came to her appointment was only given x-rays by someone who seemed so inexperienced she nearly choked my mom trying to get all the x-rays. Then she was told she had to come back for another appointment for the cleaning, when her appointment was supposed to be for a cleaning. Then they recommended a ton of work to my mom that she said wasn’t in her budget (including all sorts of oral surgery & expensive work) but she just wanted the cleaning advertised & they actually told her "go to the free clinic" when she called to find out the next steps. I am appalled! My mom recently moved to CA from the east coast, is retired, & is on a fixed budget. I’m so livid by how they treated her. Shameful! They do not honor their advertisements, and are trying gouge people for unnecessary dental work.

As someone who does not like going to the dentist, I cannot wait to come back here. The entire staff was so kind and helpful. Lupe at the front desk was amazing. I’ve never felt more cared for at a dental appointment than I have here

My experience with this dental office was incredibly disappointing. They scheduled appointments and then had morning meeting so we waited outside for 30 mins after our appointment. When asked why they would schedule when the have meetings there was no response or apologies. Communication is terrible — it’s almost impossible to get a straight answer or call back. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful, and the dentist seemed completely incompetent, giving me the runaround instead of addressing the actual issue. I left feeling frustrated and like my time was completely wasted. Definitely would not recommend this office to anyone looking for professional or reliable care.

Everyone was so very nice. Dr. Setareh was excellent at explaining things to me. She really took the time to help me to understand what treatment I need. The finance lady also took the time to discuss my options and to direct me in the best one possible for me. All in all it was a very good experience and I would highly recommend Simi Valley smiles to my family and friends.

Did not tell me that my insurance would not cover the appointment. After I had to talk to my insurance, the office told my insurance that they DID inform me that it wouldn’t be covered. Going to the dentist is stressful enough without having to worry about surprise bills.

Wow! I had such a wonderful first time visit at Simi Valley Smiles. Each and every person I came in contact with (Eileen, Lupe, Mimi, Nathan, and Dr. Setareh) was very professional in addition to being genuinely kind. I was impressed with their state of the art X-rays/full mouth scans and was given a very thorough exam including a full outline of what my upcoming appointments will entail as well as my out of pocket costs. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Thank you!
