Dr. Waxler, Dr. Tabendeh, and Terry have been the best at providing support of my intensive dental treatments. I always feel my nervousness subside because the atmosphere feels calm and welcoming. The front desk team is genuinely friendly, remembers your name, and handles insurance and scheduling with zero hassle. They’re efficient but never make you feel rushed. Dr. Waxler is outstanding. She’s skilled, listens carefully to concerns, and explains treatment options clearly with pros/cons and costs upfront—no pressure sales tactics. Dr. Tabandeh and her team are exceptional. She is a master with implants and has a calming presence . She explains the treatment plan clearly which reassured my anxiety. The hygienist-Golnaz is exceptional—gentle, thorough, and great at explaining everything without making you feel talked down to. My last cleaning was completely pain-free (even the deep scaling I needed), and she took the time to show me exactly where I could improve my home routine. They use up-to-date equipment. Everything feels modern and clean without being cold or sterile. If you’re looking for a dental practice where you feel truly cared for this is the place. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

I had a very pleasant experience here. Everyone was polite, professional, and knowledgeable, and they took the time to walk me through each step of the process. I really appreciated how transparent they were about costs. They were also incredibly accommodating and kind to my toddler who came with me to the appointment. Overall, I felt very well taken care of, and I’ll definitely be back for my routine visits and any major dental work I need in the future.

To begin with, this office is a collection of professional and experienced staff whom respect patients time and care about them. In particular, I have been beyond impressed with Dr.Waxler's level of expertise, experience and care in every treatment I have received. For me, a factor that distinguishes Dr.Waxler from other dentists is her meticulous approach and skillsets in executing the complex treatment without causing discomfort. Besides, she ensures proper and comprehensive treatment that has made me confident I would "not" need to go for any re-treatment of filling, crown and root-canal(where applicable). Ofcourse, the experienced and caring staff complement her leadership in ensuring a full service experience at this dental office. Great dentist, have been going here for almost 20 years. In the many years of seeing Dr. Waxler, I have never had a single complaint! Phenomenal dentist staff, from the people at the front desk, to the assistants, to the dentist specialists, to Waxler herself, the entire staff is nothing but polite and professional. I’ve been a patient for regular dentistry, as well as orthodontia(some years ago), and now back to regular being a regular patient. Have never had a complaint! By far the best dentist staff I have ever seen!

Maintenance appointment with my dental hygienist Michelle Kock went really well. She answered all my questions and concerns fully and respectfully. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a hygienist. Plus front desk staff at simi valley dental group has always been very nice and helpful as well.

If you need a dentist, I would not recommend anyone other than Dr. Waxler!! I’ve been with her for years and out of all the dentists that I have had in my lifetime, she is the most honest and trusting dentist I’ve ever had. She does not push you to do work and will tell you what should be taken as a priority or what could be put off. She will never steer your wrong and really does amazing work. She will also try her best to work with you on numbers since dental work can be very pricey. I give this review because I know how hard it is to find a good dentist. People have their preference, but I really highly recommend her.
