Savage's Ale House

This was my first time going out to a bar, and it's pretty delicious for bar food. The onion rings and fried pickles could have used a bit of seasoning and the batter used to fry stuff is okay. Other than that, solid food selection! The Shed Town was juicy and decently sized for $7-8! 😀 Our server was wonderful and timely! However, the men's bathroom is a yikes, I'll tell you that. 😅

Went out for a birthday meal and was very happy with every aspect of the visit. Our server Casey was attentive and friendly, not pushy at all. We ordered fried pickle chips for an appetizer, which came out in no time at all. For the main course, we ordered a BLT and Fries and a Breaded Tenderloin with Onions Rings. Everything was amazingly tasty. They have a huge beer selection and a great atmosphere. (Even the bathroom is cool.) Prices are reasonable. Think Applebee's or Friday's. If you're visiting Muncie, come here. You WON'T be disappointed.

Small place. Luckily we got there before the rush because people were standing and waiting for tables. The prices are cheap for food. Food is good—not the best I've ever had, but I was satisfied for the price. While my party wasn't impressed with the waitress and personality, it was fine for me. Kinda busy so I get it. Probably a good place for people who love ale, but I doubt I'll go back. It just wasn't what I was looking for. Again, personal preference.

I've been coming here off and on for a few years now and I have to say that today was the worst impression I've had. But I have only ate inside a couple times before today, it was usually take out. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and didn't realize it had mozzarella cheese sticks on it, well the person who waited on us noticed I didn't seem happy and asked what he could do. We asked if they could just make a new one with out the cheese sticks and he said that that's just the way they come. I'm sorry but I know they aren't premade sandwiches, they make them when you order. Basically he didn't want to to correct anything but he ended up bringing me a piece of cheese to take home and put on the sandwich and try to fix it at home myself. I hate to say it but I don't think I will be coming back.

Very chill spot that a coworker and I checked out after a stressful night. The atmosphere was a total vibe as was the music. The bartender was helpful and really chill. The drinks were good and the prices on both food and drinks were very fair. The place was very clean, too. Nothing I could say bad about this place. I would definitely come back again!

Chill vibes, great music, AMAZING prices. But most impressively, they have the BEST vegan chicken I've ever had. The texture is 🤌🤌🤌 unparalleled. I genuinely don't think you can tell much of a difference between this and actual chicken. Pictured is the buffalo chicken wrap with the vegan chicken replacement. Look at that TEXTURE.

Great bar menu. Nice offering of beers. Great place to go w/my son & his gf after jazz concerts on campus. Food always arrives hot. Sam, our server, is awesome.
