January 4th i had ordered cakes at another bakery and they made a mistake and my cakes wernt ready. So i last minute went over to Safeway wasnt expecting much of a store bought cake but the tres leches oreo cake was delicious! And the young lady at the bakery section who helped me out was super kind helping me pick out some last minute cakes for my kids birthdays. I will definitely be going there for my cakes more often.

Very nice and clean store. I always buy my pop here they have great sales buy 2 get 3. Although tonight it was digital, and I'm not sure why. That's a change they need to make, It should work with your phone number and not have to use the app. Thank gosh for Sharon in self-check she was very helpful and friendly.

I personally like Richland location much better. The customer service can be so-so at Kennewick and they don’t have as much of any section to be impressed. But if your looking for a place to stop in and grab what you need i recommend it’s not over crowded everything is easy to find and no hassle check out Don’t forget to subscribe monthly or annually for great deals and monthly bonuses included and save up on your for U cash that you accumulate thru the point system for each product you buy. For government assisted families or a persons get 50% off of the Safeway for you subscription every month with proof of snap/EBT information that they can verify and is that a long process they verify within seconds I totally recommend definitely my favorite app for a grocery store Happy shopping(:

Go in every monday for the Cheap Chicken deal. Their food is always fresh, or marked down appropriately. The employees are always friendly & willing to help out:)

I had a very disappointing experience at this Safeway. A clerk insulted me by calling me illiterate because I didn’t notice a sign about cash back. Regardless of any misunderstanding, there is absolutely no excuse for insulting a customer. Customers deserve to be treated with basic respect and dignity. Being spoken to that way was humiliating and unprofessional. I expect better customer service from a company like Safeway, and I hope management addresses this behavior so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

This Safeway has been a staple in my life since the day it opened in 1980. I was here when they cut the ribbon and have lived through multiple changes and renovations. Always professional staff and management, I will be a lifelong customer forever.

UPDATE: The guy who treated us poorly last time completely ignored us tonight! We had to finally ask to be helped at the self checkout and when Ira the man working walked up he said extremely rudely: "Oh wow I didn’t know you guys actually wanted to be helped this time." You have massive bully working customer service and it’s so disappointing. Ira needs to be moved and retrained he is a bully. Be careful if you have a new paper id from Oregon. Some of the employees will argue it’s not valid and will try to not allow you to purchase age restricted items. I had to have him call the manager over and her to finally accept it. This location is a joke
