Tony expertly cut my hair into the exact, long-layered look I specifically requested. No mistakes. No pressure to buy any products. Just attentive, professional check-ins for my feedback to ensure that he cut my difficulty long hair precisely as I wanted. And the head-massage during the shampooing felt both relaxing and revitalizing. Will definitely return for the exceptional service.
Super friendly and professional cut. One of the best I ever had. Highly recommend Tony.
I am delighted with my new haircut. My hair looks great even without styling! Thank you.
I am very happy with Tony and Sandy’s hair styling. I trust my hair with them when it comes to hair perm and cut. I wouldn’t go to other places for my hair.
The haircut was good, but I didn’t feel comfortable with Tony’s attitude, which came across as rude and aggressive. So I won’t be returning.
Good cut, friendly staff, knows my Asian hair. Good price, not fancy, perfect for my regular cuts
Update (12/21/25): Earlier this summer (7/13/25), I had my hair cut by Tony. I don't remember why I made the switch from Sandy to Tony (maybe availability?), but I liked how he cut my hair so stuck with him for my visit this time. He does a great job keeping my length while maintaining shape and lightening my hair, giving me layers on the outside and texturizing on the inside. Today, he asked if I wanted light texturing, and I asked him to go quite heavy. He obliged, and my hair looks and feels great. The reason I'm updating this review is moreso for myself. After my wash & cut today, Tony went to ring me up, and he asked me how much I typically pay (which is very odd). I misremembered the price as $70, so he rang me up for $70 on the credit card machine, and I tipped him in cash. Then, when I went home, I looked at previous credit card charges and noticed that I had previously been charged $60. I ended up calling the salon to inform him of the overcharge, he said that maybe it should have been $65, and we agreed that I would bring this up during my next visit. So, I'm noting this for my next visit! Original review (2/16/24): I am loving my haircut by Sandy. My hair has never felt so light! A good friend of mine has been seeing Sandy for years and highly recommended her. I called on a Friday afternoon at 3:30pm to make an appointment. Tony picked up the phone and asked if I wanted to come by same day. I told him I could do 4:30, which he locked in. Street parking is easy to find, and the spots right out front are for an hour from 9am to 6pm. Luckily, my wash and cut took exactly an hour! A staff member washed my hair, then Sandy asked what I was looking for. I told her that my hair was heavy, and that I wanted invisible layers that would lighten the weight but keep the length. She started styling my hair, meticulously checking for symmetry. She mentioned that my hair was indeed heavy and tangled easily. She asked if I wanted bangs and how I wore my part, then recommended that I try chin-length wisps for framing. Once she was done shaping, she blow dried my hair before moving on to layering. An hour later, she showed me the finished product: a light, airy, low maintenance cut. My wash and cut cost $65 before tip. I asked if I could pay with card because I hadn’t brought enough cash. She said yes, then mentioned that women’s cuts typically cost $60 but may be more expensive if they’re trickier. I paid for the cut with card and tipped in cash. Overall, I’m very pleased with my haircut and look forward to future haircuts with Sandy!
