⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Authentic Flavor! I stopped by Original Island Taste and tried the Haitian patty with a lot of pikliz — and honestly, it was the best thing I’ve ever tasted! The patty was perfectly flaky and golden, and the pikliz added the perfect kick of spice and freshness. Every bite was full of flavor and reminded me of real island cooking. Definitely my new favorite spot — can’t wait to go back and try more! 🇭🇹🔥

I purchased griot from this establishment yesterday, and I must say, it was a disappointing experience which I will not be repeating. I contacted them to express my dissatisfaction as the portion size for $17 was inadequate. Although I had only consumed a single slice of plantain, upon calling them immediately upon arriving home, I was informed to return the next day to receive another serving. However, upon requesting to collect my replacement dish, I was informed by the owner that they were unable to offer a refund or provide me with a replacement. The lack of satisfactory customer service in black-owned businesses is concerning, and it's disheartening that they failed to rectify the situation. I advise against revisiting this establishment, as you may end up overpaying for a serving of griot.

The griot was fresh and tasty the rice was cooked perfect the atmosphere was wonderful and our server Zee was wonderful the plate was full enough for two people to yall go check them out ☺️

You guys should try their turkey but everything on the menu is tasty! Take my worlds for it!! I did take out but they also have outdoor sitting. Fresh meat, rice on point & their Prestige🍺 hits!!!

Food full of flavor!!!! Great price and it was well worth it! Mind it was not a long wait.

Terrible customer service. I called the place at 3:45pm so that during my lunch break I could pick up the food. The guy on the phone told me 15 minutes. I got there at 4:07 and the lady told me the guy just told her that I called and the food isn’t done. She only put the patè kode on the oil. I had ordered Pate Kode and Legume with rice and the Cola Couronne. Then she goes to tell me that I called only 10 minutes ago to make it seem like I was there too early. From 3:45-4:07 the food should’ve been done. The lady didn’t even apologize, I didn’t get anything in return, and because it was my lunch break I couldn’t stay so I left. Customer service was terrible and no accountability was held on their part for their mistake. Don’t recommend.

Yeooo.. for starters, customer service is top notch. They ran out of rice and refunded me, whole time I didn’t care and replaced my order with ease. I waited enough to know my food was fresh and made to order. Once I ordered my entrees, I checked them once I got in the car and of course gave a taste test. I ordered the griot entree as well as the turkey. And when I tell you, you can tell they love what they do. I got a great portion of delicious food for a great price. Definitely my new spot!
