I want to say first the front desk is an AMAZING duo. The woman front and center has a lot to deal with and she handles it well. The woman to her right is also so patient and listens while understanding clientele. They get FIVE STARS. Everything else was downhill. The initial consultation took an hour as it was, the assistant at the consultation had the worst attitude and will cut you off if you want to ask any questions because she knows what you’re going to say already and wants to speak. The dentist herself with an accent does not care how long they take. So she will be "backed up" and choose who she wants to work on first. There were several other people that came in after our appointment and got their procedure done before my 10 year old. All the dentist could say was a sarcastic "well sorry we’re here now". We got in 15 minutes before our 2pm appointment and were pulled back right away. He got his novocaine shot 30-40 minutes later. Then had to wait another 45 minutes before they started even working on him at 3:30. I’m so glad this is the first and hopefully last time here because no one should ever spend two hours at the dentist just waiting. Especially when novocaine wears off after two hours itself.

Do not go here. My experience at Ocean Dental was absolutely terrible. I left in tears, in severe pain, and completely hopeless. I’ve been going to this office for years and have never experienced anything like this. During my yearly appointment, I had a deep cavity filled. While the dentist was numbing me, something dripped onto my lip and burned badly yet she didn’t explain what happened or show any concern. She mentioned the cavity was deep and that I might feel some pain afterward, but I wasn’t prescribed any pain medication before leaving. The next day, the pain was unbearable so bad it woke me up at night. I called the office, and only then did they prescribe ibuprofen and amoxicillin, which did nothing to relieve the pain. When I went back, they said they would prescribe a stronger pain medication that should help, but after waiting and calling the pharmacy, nothing was sent over. I called the office again, and they told me their system was down and there was nothing they could do. I couldn’t believe what was happening to me. When I called back begging for help or a possible root canal, they told me I’d have to wait 3–6 weeks for insurance approval. I was in tears from the pain, and the staff spoke to me rudely and without compassion. The manager even referred me to another dentist for help but when I called, that office didn’t even take my insurance. At that point, I honestly felt like they did it on purpose just to make things harder for me. I can’t believe there are people in this field who genuinely don’t care about their patients. Tooth pain is no joke, and to be misled and treated so carelessly was heartbreaking. I left feeling dismissed, unheard, and still in excruciating pain. I truly wish the dentist had done a root canal instead of a filling. This experience has completely changed how I view this office

DON’T GO HERE!!! DONT TAKE YOUR BABIES!!! my daughter got called to the back room, took her for X-rays she has been doing X-rays for a 1 hour and 45 minutes. I cached to see what was going on they said she done. Next thing you know they come back and said she needs more X-rays there hose 30 more minutes. Apparently they couldn’t take X-rays. Suzie floor supervisor told me she needs another X-ray I’m like ok, my daughter was in pain already suzie told mom to leave the room she was didn’t say can you please exit the room for X-rays she said for mom to leave. I moved out and stayed close by cause I knew something was off. I had a mom gut feeling I go back to the room my daughter is crying her eyes out and shaking really bad and what do u see is suzie grabbing my daughter by her face tell her she needs to open her mouth because the youth she has to take a X-ray is way to big. I stop it right away. My daughter is shaking so bad you can tell suzie did something. On top of two hours of doing "X-rays" I went to look for a manager which I found Alex office manager she was worse. She didn’t want to fix the problem she told me we had to go somewhere else, because she was really great friends with the manager there. We went to golden valley smile in Clovis. They took her X-rays again! They didn’t even see my daughter they just said ohh we cat do it here they sent her to care and cure dental mom called then and said my daughter was referred by golden valley, the lady was like wow again they know better to stop sending referrals to us we don’t take children 12 and under, they always do this when they don’t want to help a patient out. That shows my more then anything how ocean dental group and gold Bally smile works. Just because suzie got caught hurting a child and you Alex tried to cover it up and not fix the problem is one sad thing. What goes around comes around.

0 stars ! BE CAREFUL COMING HERE! Got a root canal done, and they did the treatment over tooth decay! Had to get the treatment done again.

First time there and I do not recommend going there. We literally waited about 2 months for my daughter to be seen and then the day of her appointment they rescheduled because they did not inform me that she needed to eat something before. (She was recommended here because she needed to get a root canal and they said she was going to be put to sleep) but when we got there they said no and that she needed to eat before so now we have to wait basically another month (21 days) We were not satisfied and my baby has to wait longer now😞😠 bad communication/schueduling or should i say very good at scheduling but not at doing their jobs.

The office open 15 minutes late. The energy in this office doesn’t scream work in my mouth they’re rude. I appreciate the young lady with the low bun in her hair at the desk she was the only pleasant welcoming person in there.

If I could leave a 0 stars I would. I’m never one to leave bad reviews, but they pissed me off this time! They book your appointment and don’t see you until an hour later all for them to only look at your teeth and send you on your way. I had a cleaning scheduled and they just brush me off saying their "specialist" is booked, why schedule me then?! They do it just to charge the medical for payment, it’s not the first time they’ve done that to me. I overheard them charging someone a $25 dollar fee for being late, how come we can’t charge them for booking us at a time and calling us in 45 min later! A man needed help filing his paperwork, and his son was on his way to help him, and the receptionist wanted to reschedule him because she couldn’t wait 5 min, whole time they were going to have him sit and wait to be called in anyways. It’s so dumb! Their receptionists kept complaining about wanting to quit the whole time I was in the waiting room. They know they’re overbooking and then they can’t keep up with their patients 🙄😡 Avoid this dentist!! I also had my wisdom teeth removed here and it was the worst experience ever!! Never again making an appointment here!
