This has become my go-to spot whenever I need beauty supplies or even a last-minute gift. The store is well-organized, reasonably priced, and always has something interesting to discover. Beyond hair products, they carry a surprising mix of items like candles, fun accessories, kids’ toys, and cute little extras you don’t usually expect to find in one place. I’m especially impressed with their hair and makeup selection. What really makes the experience better is the staff. They’re friendly, approachable, and actually know their products. I’ve been shopping at Number One Beauty for over two years now, and it’s saved me so much time compared to driving far just to find the basics. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Number One Beauty is an absolute gem! The store is always so well-stocked with terrific products, and the children’s department is just adorable—perfect for a last-minute gift. I make sure to stop by every time I’m in the area visiting a friend, and it’s always such a fun shopping experience. The owners are lovely and clearly have a great eye for selecting unique and high-quality items for the shop. Today, I picked up some gifts for a friend’s daughter and asked if they had gift bags for sale. Instead, they went above and beyond by wrapping everything beautifully themselves. I absolutely love this shop and will continue to visit whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

Number One beauty is much more than just a beauty product store, it has candles, jewelry, accessories and tons of great decor items too. It is a great place to shop for gifts and they offer free and beautifully done gift wrapping. The owner/managers are always friendly and accommodating and will help you find whatever you are looking for without being pushy. Thanks for being number one and please don’t ever change.

This shop is a neighborhood gem. It's been in business for 40 years and has everything you could possibly need from a pharmacy, beauty, and gift shop. Mercedes is lovely, as is everyone else. It's a special place. May it be in business another 40 years -- and then some!

So many great products! The staff is incredibly helpful, too. They know their lines, the industry, ingredients, and how to customize for your needs. I’m typically a "no help needed, thanks" kind of shopper, but I highly recommend asking the team about what’s new, what’s tried and true, and what might work for you.

This store has everything! Read till the end! When you walk up to the storefront, the incredible window display literally draws you inside. The staff is VERY knowledgeable on products and skincare and they are more than happy to give you advice or suggestions for different budgets. Besides hair and beauty products there’s also makeup, lots of candles and soaps and you would not believe the amount of incredible gifts in this store for either yourself or a friend! Do NOT miss the large backroom, it’s filled with so many amazing things, including really unique and high end childrens clothes, toys, gifts and accessories! There are even amazing pool floats! It’s really a fun experience to visit this store. The ONLY downside is you come out with things you had no idea that you REALLY, REALLY NEEDED!! This is a Montana Avenue must stop and shop!

Best Beauty Supply around, and I’m in Santa monica,So I don’t have to travel miles to get my favorite Redken shampoo., and all the color I need to Color my own hair. The owners and sales people are the best. Great gift place for Children’s accessories, Barbie things, purses. Gifts galore for everyone. The place is loaded with unique items. Check it out.
