My crown fell off again after the recementing from a dishonest, unethical, fraudulent dentist in Bethesda last week. There is no way I would go back to that office to get rip off again so I asked my peers in the office and Lisa recommended Dr. Shin Kim for me. I called his office and the front desk was very polite, very kind and very professional. She made an urgent appointment for me to see Dr. Kim very next day. I visited his office for the recement on 2/19/26 and was very impressed with how friendly, kind and professionalism of everyone there including Dr. Kim. He is very polite, quite, kind and very professional. He is very experience dentist and very caring. He took time to clean up my crown, gum and explained the procedures to me. He didn't say anything about replacing my crown or tried to make more money on me like that bad dentist in Bethesda. Dr. Kim is very honest and care about your wellbeing. I completely trust him and will be seeing him as my regular dentist from now on. Thank you Dr. Kim and his staff for making me feel comfortable to see the dentist again. I highly recommended this office of Dr. Shin Kim.

Dr. Kim, I truly appreciate the care I received during my visit. I have never had a good experience with a dentist or doctor before, but this was completely different. After many disappointments in the past, this visit was a wonderful experience. You listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable. The office was clean and welcoming, and the staff was kind and helpful from start to finish. I am very satisfied and grateful. I have found a doctor I trust for life—for myself and my family. I am overly disgusted by the recent encounter I had with the front desk staff. Daniela, was egregiously disrespectful, rude, and un willing to adequately support me. She shouted at me and failed to deliver any type of service to value me as a patient. as a result. I canceled my scheduled root canal appointment and will never revisit or support this establishment. Doctors need to be aware of the critical role their admin staff plays in shaping patient experiences.

I believe her name was Wei (apologies if I got it wrong), but I just had to take a moment to share how amazing my experience was with her over the phone. In a world where customer service can often feel rushed or impersonal, she stood out as an incredibly kind-hearted and understanding receptionist. It truly means a lot when the first voice you hear is so warm and welcoming. It sets the tone for everything else. Based on our conversation, I already feel confident that my daughter will have a wonderful experience with Dr. Kim. I didn’t want this interaction to go unnoticed. Thank you for reminding us how powerful genuine kindness can be!

I have been a patient of Dr Kim for 10 years, he’s managed my dental care from routine checks, root canals, crowns to implants. I moved out of the area yet I still come to his office for my dental health because it’s reliable professional service. His Hygienists and front desk staff are also very professional and kind. Everytime I visit his office, even if I don’t need to see Dr Kim, he checks in to say hello with a smile. Also, his facility is one of the CLEANEST in the DMV. Thanks Dr Kim and Team.

I saw Dr. Kim for the first time today and he spent a lot of time with me. He removed remaining residue from my braces that the ortho missed, went through my x-rays with me, and was very kind. Very happy with how my teeth look post-cleaning😄
