They have a great selection of healthy Japanese foods, and their original brand products are also reasonably priced. The staff are super friendly, cheerful, and incredibly helpful—really amazing service! I was looking for some hard-to-find Japanese fish powder for making ramen, and I was so happy they had it.

Hidden gem for a quick, high-quality lunch! I grabbed some fried chicken and a salmon bowl, and it was exactly what I needed. The portion size was generous for the price, leaving me perfectly full without that 'heavy' feeling you get from most takeout. It’s hard to find a meal this affordable that still feels fresh and light.

Great sushi and sashimi grade fish selection, hot counter, bakery, as well as all of the various dry goods. The fried curry sandwich was a new food for me and was really fun, I came back to get more. They have Japanese style soft serve ice cream at the deli counter as well.

Great Japanese market located off 182nd St/Van Ness Avenue in a shopping plaza, my go to when I needed Bentos for the plane ride back home😥 Awesome prices and selection, they have a hot food make your own plate there too. Friend introduced me to the Bakudan onigiri rice ball that has salmon flakes, spicy cod roe, seasoned kelp and pickled mustard greens. More variety than the Nijiya Markets in Honolulu, its good to visit and compare prices and differences in these stores.
