Mumu Hot Pot offers very fresh meats and vegetables, and I really like that everyone gets their own individual hot pot. The service was fast, and our waiter did a great job explaining how to order using our phones. However, the ordering process is a bit inconvenient since there’s no physical menu or iPad—everything has to be done on your own iPhone. Also, the soup base had way too much MSG, which made it a bit overwhelming. Overall, it’s a nice place for a quick, fresh hot pot meal, but I hope they can tone down the MSG and make ordering easier.

I have been coming to Mumu Hot Pot for many times. What I would like to praise about this restaurant is its consistency of the high food quality. Meat is fresh (beef, beef tongue, pork, etc), vegetables are plenty, soup base is great with a variety of dipping sauce. It is not AYCE but the order for 2 can easily fill up 2 persons' stomach. Dinning area is not crowded with personal space and each seat has its own stove. Since it is not AYCE, there is no rush and no time limit. One can really enjoy the food. At dinner time, expect a bit of wait time but worth it. If you want to dine out eating quality meat in hot pot style, Mumu Hot Pot is a great choice.

A good place to eat, it's a bit crowded and they usually have a waiting list, the two times I went we didn't have to wait because we were only two people, the hot pot concept is interesting as there is a variety of more or less spicy broths, plus a variety of meats, vegetables and condiments available so you can give them your own seasoning. The staff is friendly and the service is very fast, in general a place to enjoy Chinese food of another type and not just the classic of the shopping malls.

Delicious authentic hot pot meat with halal wagyu options. As I am writing this review, they have three halal meat options outside of the seafood option. There is halal Wagyu toro, halal Wagyu chuck, and lamb. We’ve tried all three and depending on the cut, which has varied between visits our favorite changes between the wagyus. The lamb did not taste gamey and tasted good at Mumu and I usually don’t like lamb because of the strong taste. For those needing halal, they only offer halal beef and lamb and the server can confirm it. Their broths need to be made with vegan/ vegetarian broth! The Thai Tom yum, Szechuan, and soup options are nice but really spicy. The menu is online and they provide you WiFi. You order everything through the site and they bring it to your table. So to order vegan broth you have to tell a server as they don’t provide an option on some of their options like the meat lover option. Celiacs beware! They do not have a gluten free soup option and every time we have had to go we have to get hot water. But you can still enjoy the meat and seafood if you bring your own gluten free soup base and some condiments. So we brought our own gluten free soy sauce and chili paste and made our own broth which tastes pretty good with the veggies and sides. Also, when you order make sure to tell them you have celiac and to make sure none of the noodles that have wheat come on top of the veggies. We ordered a side of udon for the non GF people and they stuck it on top of the veggies. The meat lover option is perfect for two or an extremely hungry single person. We have been here three times over the past month and we finally know what to do for dietary restrictions. They get busy during peak times, and require you to put your name on the waitlist.

It was our first visit to Mumu Hotpot, and we arrived just before closing, managing to place our order just in time. Since it was our first experience, we scrambled to understand the setup, and deciding on a soup base was a bit challenging. Ultimately, we chose the Tom Yum soup base and went with the Single Meat option, selecting chicken to share since we weren't too hungry. We also added extra ramen noodles, which turned out to be two portions - perhaps a bit too much, as adding both would have dried up the soup. The Tom Yum soup was delicious, and the chicken was thinly sliced, making us feel confident in our choices after much deliberation. We tried the Yuzu Shio, which was overly salty, and we were glad we sampled it first. The Miso was too mild for our taste, and the Tomato was quite simple. We were hesitant about the Sichuan Sauce, fearing it might be too spicy, so we felt the Tom Yum was a good middle ground. We enjoyed all the toppings, especially the mushrooms, which were exceptional—don’t miss out on those! The only downside was that we felt rushed to finish our meal since it was 9:40, and they were already cleaning up and preparing to close. We understand the need to close on time, but they should consider not accepting walk-ins after 8:30 or 8:45, as hot pot dining takes time to cook and enjoy. Despite that, we had a great time, and the overall experience was enjoyable.

Mumu Hotpot is a fantastic spot for hotpot lovers! The quality of the ingredients, especially the fresh veggies, and quality meat really stood out. Ordering online was super easy and convenient, which made the whole experience even smoother. We tried the green pepper base, and it was absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice. The restaurant is also kid-friendly, which is a big plus for families. Another highlight is the ample parking, so no need to stress about finding a spot. Overall, a wonderful dining experience that we’ll definitely be repeating!

Update: After I posted my original review, the owner immediately responded to me, and I messaged them back. They offered a sincere apology and handled my concerns promptly. I appreciated this a lot since I have not had to reach out to a restaurant before and didn't know what to expect. I recognize my one‑off experience is something that can happen anywhere and may not the norm at Mumu and their other locations. I’m updating my review to reflect that the management shows genuine care for customer satisfaction. ------------------------------------ This place isn't all-you-can-eat and also uses individual pots, which is what I had been looking for since I am temporarily eating plant-based for health reasons. I had really high hopes due to the great reviews but I was shocked from my first visit. The $26 vegan box is misleading, it doesn't say what vegetables/tofu you already get so I ended up ordering more of what was provided. There’s no text on the menu about what vegetables come in the order. A lazy attempt to attract plant-based eaters on the website with the words vegan-friendly. Also doesn’t even have the option to add quail eggs. Wouldn’t that make sense for a vegetarian? My party had an issue with food quality on our visit, which raised concerns about freshness of the meat. They have less sauce options here than other hotpot places nearby and overall my experience felt overpriced.
