Loving Tree Academy

This is our second year at summer camp. My daughter also joined the after-school program this past school year. We’ve had a great experience. The admin is friendly and supportive, and the teachers are enthusiastic and kind. My daughter loves her Chinese class as she’s learned so many characters and phrases, it really surprises me. And it's an excellent language exposure for her as we speak Chinese at home. It was also a pleasant surprise to see the school has a parent reference this year. We also have several friends whose kids attend Loving Tree. We would definitely recommend Loving Tree to other families.

My son has been attending the Loving Tree Academy for about a year now. He absolutely loves it! The staff and teachers are so friendly, caring, and always create a fun, engaging atmosphere. They're always up for new activities and games, and my son comes home excited to share about his day. They also have fantastic spring and summer camps. Highly recommend!

My daughter attended the summer camp at Loving Tree. We have not attended during the school year, although we have friends who do send their kids there and are happy with their program. This review is specific to the summer camp. My daughter attended the summer camp for a couple of weeks. She was not very proficient at Chinese and I feel she was not given much support to follow along in class. She felt that the teacher did not properly explain things in a way that beginners could understand and she felt left out most of the time.

We love Loving Tree Academy’s Summer Camp! They provide nutritious lunches every day and offer a wide variety of engaging activities. One highlight is the Chinese poetry lessons—such a great way to connect kids with culture while having fun. My child looks forward to going every day and always comes home excited to share what they learned. The teachers are caring and the environment is warm and welcoming. Highly recommend for families looking for a Summer Camp.

My son has been attending for over a year now, we are both very happy with the teachers at Loving tree. His teachers are not only knowledgeable and passionate, but also incredibly patient and supportive. Communication between the teachers and parents is very prompting The curriculum is well-structured and engaging, combining language learning with cultural activities that make the experience fun and meaningful. Classes include music, art, English, Chinese, math and Chinese holiday celebrations that bring Chinese traditions to life. We recommend Loving tree to parents and students who are looking for an immersive Chinese culture environment and academic improvement.

My son has attended Loving Tree for 2 years. His Chinese and Math has been improving a lot. He can even recite Chinese poems and his Chinese handwriting is neat and beautiful. He has learned much advanced math skills to solve complicated and comprehensive math problems. The teachers are supportive and outgoing. They talk with you about how is your kid going regularly in a sincere way and love to share with you what happened in school. Besides, the classroom is clean and organized. Love this school!

As a parent, I’m very thankful we found Loving Tree Academy for our child. From the first visit, I could tell the teachers were warm, attentive, and genuinely care about the kids. It has a cozy, home-like feeling, but still very structured and educational. We were especially looking for a program with strong Mandarin language instruction, and this school has exceeded our expectations. Not only is our daughter speaking more confidently in Mandarin, she’s also learning about Chinese culture and traditions through crafts, songs, and stories. She came home so excited about the Moon Festival and even tried teaching us what she learned. The staff is patient and professional. They give updates when needed and always greet us with a smile. You can tell they’re experienced educators who enjoy working with children. The class sizes are small enough that each child gets individual attention. Highly recommend this school to any family looking for a nurturing bilingual environment in the Dublin/Pleasanton area.
