it’s a shame i only discovered this grocery store on my last day in nyc. it's so close to my hostel, and the prices are great without sacrificing quality. the bakery section had so many tempting options, but i limited myself to three: a chocolate chip cookie, an apple fritter, and a cronut. the cookie was so good, chewy, delicious, and only 59 cents! the apple fritter was probably my favorite, so flavorful and satisfying. the cronut, however, was a letdown. just a dry croissant shaped like a donut. overall, an absolute bargain!

I can only give this particular Lidel 4 of 5 stars because I don't shop there very often. However, based on the two+ years I've visited this location, I can say I'm quite pleased with its service and food choices. Not to mention that the cashiers are polite, professional, and do good job! You're fellow customers aren't bad eighter (A good crowd). A low cost store recommended for when you're on a tight budget!

I like going to this lidl. It's affordable and the choices are enough for me and the diet that I have. The only reason why I am putting 4 stars is because about a week ago or so, I bought a yogurt the big ones, and when I went home to open it I realized that the expiration was A YEAR AGO! So, I immediately made a complain, added pics of the product and the receipt and all the steps they required. It was pretty straight forward. Four days later, I got a gift card that was a litte bit more than the original price and a extra free yogurt cupon!

Stopped by after an afternoon of meetings in Harlem. I must say that I am impressed with the vast number of products carried. The prices are very good and many products are private label. We were quite satisfied with all of the proteins, sauces and pasta that we purchased. They also offer fresh baked goods at value-based prices. Definitely worth checking out.

Why don’t we have one of these in Hudson Yards? The quality is excellent, although for the chocolates not as good as Aldi. Great selection of high-quality European products. I also calculate an overall pricing index to summarize how expensive the store is. Curious as to what they actually have in this supermarket and how expensive it is? I always wonder before they I go into a market, what they will have inside and how expensive it will be. For that reason in all my reviews I show a photo of every single aisle. I also show the prices for selection of products that way you’re able to compare prices with other supermarkets.

It's a large store spread over 2 levels. They have large variety of all products that you will find in any supermarket. Their prices are extremely reasonable. Seriously! A gallon of milk is ony $3.03; so are a dozen eggs. Lidl also has 3 unisex restrooms, which I've yet to see in any supermarket in NYC. The store is clean and they are always stocking the shelves; as many products are quickly scooped by the eager customers. Just go to Lidl and you'll see What I'm talking about. P.S. you won't be disappointed.

Time and time again, a horrible experience of shopping. Saturday morning with a line going like a snake behind me, and there are only two cashiers. The store has everything wrapped in plastic so it’s a horrible space for the environment. You can’t even get one tomato without plastic-wrapping around it. If you wanna waste your time, waiting in a line of one or two cashiers present, and if you want to harm the environment by constantly using horrible amounts of plastic, this is the store for you! The guy in front of me just left everything in his hand and left the store because of the horrible non-moving line. And I am using this newfound time to write this review.
