Korean Twist at Hawthorne Asylum

Delicious Korean BBQ Mexican fusion. The spicy Pork and Teriyaki burritos were both delicious. I added Kim Chi and it was a fantastic combinations of flavor. The rice was a real stand out as well. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and like fusion food.

Had the beef bulgolgi yakisoba and it was delicious. Light on the veggies, but such a good deal. Really generous portion - plenty for dinner and lunch the next day. Will definitely be back! The Asylum is also pretty great in terms of covered seating and heaters. So it’s an excellent food cart pod.

First time at Hawthorne Asylum. Came after work, around 5 pm. Not crowded. Vibe was chill and cool. Decided to try Korean Twist’s Bulgogi Beef Rice Bowl. Great taste, good portions, can with two potstickers and a side salad. Cook/server super nice. Ate at the fire pit table. Highly recommend. Will have to come again.

I got the beef bulgogi burrito with kimchi. It was yummy. Very nice. Only feedback really is that the kimchi was mid. It was lettuce with a little sauce on it. Not what I was expecting. Flavor was good for the most part. I loved the convenience of it in a burrito. It is a big one too, which is also nice. The texture of the rice was sticky, which was lovely. I like a fried bit of rice as much as the next guy but that rice was perfect. Yum. I would definitely go again. It was still delicious. For how big the burrito was it was worth the price. The flavor was good on every bite. The only thing lacking in any way was the kimchi, which just happened to be what I was looking forward to most.

Really tasty & unique tacos! The tofu tacos are 🔥 One of the best values in the food pod, with most things still under $15. Fast service & dynamite tacos. For meat eaters, the bulgogi beef is the fan favorite.

This food is incredible the flavor is so good just got the spicy chicken burrito bowl for lunch so worth the line thanks to the team who were working hard in this heat! Awesome job I’ll be back! 🍱🌶️🔥

My son ordered the spicy chicken here, and we were disappointed. The meat didn’t taste fresh, and the dish had little to no flavor. For the price, it just didn’t feel worth it — he couldn’t even finish half.
