Islander's minimart

They have a great deal of products here, but most of what they have is EXPIRED. They are aware of it and don't do anything about it. Not sure how they are getting away with this. This is a serious issue and illegal by the Health department of Oregon.

I love their products. Even though it's very small, their assortment of exotic foods and the huge selection of spices makes me go out of my way to find what I want. The people who are at the counter are always friendly and helpful. This place is a real hidden gem.

$32 dollar for a ziplock sized bag of dry fish? Let's add another $4 for 7 pieces of habanero peppers.

It was different the food definitely could've been a little spicier the rice in a different texture and taste to it but overall it was decent nice portions a little on the spending side. When I walked in there is nobody at the calendar and there was no prices on anything I didn't know whether they spoke English or not they called somebody over he finally came over took my order Is definitely Don traditional from what you find at any other restaurant or place to eat.

Overall, I had a great experience at the Islanders market. Their prices were reasonable. My only issue is the frozen meats are freezer burn and overpriced. Other than that, I’d recommend it 4-10

Great prices and great selection. Helped me find everything I needed and was in and out in less than 5m!

The customer service is good and uou can find a good variety here of items. Clothes are good quality and the price is even better. Best store to buy Indian clothes in Portland may even the entire west coast. I'd give 5 stats if the price for food weren't so much. I can go there and easily spend 100.00 for only a few grocery items. I haven't been in a while the next time I do I will update my review.
