Spa Twenty Two

I recently hosted my birthday party here with five of my friends, and it was absolutely amazing! The entire process was super easy from start to finish. The staff was extremely polite and accommodating, making us feel welcomed the moment we arrived. The spa itself is beautiful…..so clean, calming, and aesthetically stunning. Every detail added to the relaxing vibe, and it truly felt like an escape. The massages were incredible, and all the girls were raving afterward about how much better they felt. The hostess was amazing……so kind, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, it was such an amazing experience, and I would definitely do it again! Highly recommend!

In this suite of make believe, you can escape the reality of everything outside the doors for an hour at a time. All the visual illusions here are made of fake and plastic When you walk in the front door, the desk is to the right where a girl with purple and blue hair signs you in. She gives you a double sided sheet of paper to fill out with lots of personal information. Looking around the waiting area, it has an abundance of plastic flowers and wall covering hedges and a fake fireplace. Several fake candles glow with the soapy smelling aroma of an unknown source. Piano music plays from an Alexa on the table top that sounds like a funeral home where you can imagine a dead body in a coffin might be wheeled into the waiting room at any time. The piano keys randomly battle the computer keyboard sounds from the purple haired girl behind the counter. Lockers are available to put your clothes in when it's your turn to go to the back and they offer everyone who is getting their services a robe to wear if they like. From hearing phone conversations from staff, Sundays are reserved for group rental events here. If you don't want to get carpal tunnel from thumbing your phone, there's a stack of Houston County magazines here to thumb through instead. The festive white lights blinking on the wall only work on one side of the electric flameless fireplace. The other side is not lit. The waiting room has 4 old fashioned upholstered seats on top of an area rug. The ceiling has four sets of birch tree branches adorned with plastic fern like greenery with a string of 10 Edison lights dangling from each. Everything seems freshly white and new minus the yellow/aged plastic security system panel on the wall. The wifi connects at good speed or 1134 but it won't connect to the Internet. When customers check out and pay, they are verbally asked if they want to leave a gratuity. Also, the receptionist had to check her own phone to tell a customer when her next appointment was because the desktop computer was slow. When the receptionist talks to customers on the phone, it sounds like they are cancel and no show centric here. The bathroom is dimly lit and has the constant sound of water with a leaky tank. Feminine products are available in a small basket on the sink.

I definitely do not recommend this spa. For my birthday my daughter and I went to this Spa to get a massage and a facial. I was supposed to get a 90 minute massage but they were running late so I got a 70 minute massage but was charged for a 90 minute massage. Then I was supposed to get a hand and foot scrub and a facial but they did not have time to do the full service so offered to do a partial service and still charge me full price. Of course I said no and at least they gave me my money back for the services. I will say the staff was friendly but that is the only nice thing to say. What a terrible way to spend my birthday. They never even tried to make it right.

Spa 22 offers a warm and rejuvenating experience from the moment you walk through the door, a sense of peace that you can carry with you throughout the day (even after you leave). They use organic products that are so perfect for my sensitive and needy skin. I have had the pleasure of experiencing services from both Sarah and Juls, and I have never had a more grounding reset that is much needed as a full time adult. If you haven’t already, you neeeed to come check this spa out because you are definitely missing out on a life changing experience!

Absolutely recommend! What an incredible experience! The aesthetic was so enchanting. Stepping inside felt like entering a peaceful, storybook escape. I walked in full of built-up stress packed in like concrete, and floated out like a dandelion in the breeze. The only downside? Having to return to the real world afterward. This experience was a powerful reminder of how important it is to prioritize self-care, and I’ll definitely be making more time for it going forward.

David is hands down the best of the best massage therapist I’ve ever had… this is coming from a previous spa owner that was also a licensed massage therapist in NC a long time ago. He’s worth every penny.

This place is absolutely beautiful with the nicest, very talented employees! We had a bachelorette party of 3 and all got massages and facials. Shout out to David & Hailey who took care of me. Best massage I’ve ever had and best facial too! Worth every penny we spent. They provided refreshments, product recommendations, warm robes and slippers, and great customer service. Can’t wait to come back here!
