This massage parlor has been around for almost ten years, and I've been there many times. I didn't come for about six months in between. Recently, I noticed it seems to have undergone many renovations; it looks brand new, clean, comfortable, and beautiful – exactly the kind of environment I like. The girls there provide excellent service, and their massage techniques are very professional. I especially love their back massage; the pressure on my back is just right, it feels so good. After trying their deep tissue massage, I fell in love with this place. I hope they continue to improve. The back massage and kneeling massage techniques at Relief Massage Shop are absolutely perfect; the skills of this 10-year-old establishment are truly exceptional. Thank you to the beautiful and gentle Chinese woman.

I've lived and worked in San Antonio for decades and have been to most of the massage parlors. I enjoy massages because I have back pain. This particular massage parlor has excellent service and technique, and the environment is nice, comfortable, and clean. I've been here several times, and I'll definitely come back!! 01-11-2026 I went to Relief Massage today again. The techniques and service here deeply impressed me, a man in his sixties. My back and arms were very tense and sore from driving for long periods, but now they are completely recovered. It truly lives up to its reputation as an 11-year-old massage parlor with excellent management. Thank you for your hard work; I will come back often, even though it takes me 34 minutes to drive there. This is a Relief massage shop run by Chinese people. They don't require appointments, and they were able to achieve the desired results in just half an hour. I highly recommend them!!!!

Today I stumbled upon Relief Massage and learned that this massage parlor has been open for over 11 years; it's a long-established business. I was very impressed; their Chinese back massage and deep tissue massage were absolutely perfect. My job as a chef is very demanding, and now I feel completely relaxed. Thank you to the lovely girl who gave me the massage. I will definitely be back in a few days. It was well worth it, and the price and tip were reasonable. - An older American man

I drove an hour from Austin to get to this place, and I come here for a massage every week because I love the cleanliness, techniques, and service. The deep tissue massage and back walking massage are especially impressive; every detail of the service is perfect. Their movements are varied, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, and the stretching techniques are incredibly professional. This place is truly amazing. You won't regret it!

Honestly I think it was the worst massage I've ever had, and that includes students in massage school. She never once changed pressure, despite me asking multiple times. Never worked on the areas I asked for before we started, my forearms and calves. I'm typically a fan of Ashiatsu Massage, but not when they stand with full body weight on your joints. My hands hurt more today from her just grinding her heel into my fingers, at full body weight. She didn't respond to me asking her to stop, I had to physically wrench my hand away from her stomping in it. That was just the hands, she did that on all the joints. Definitely needs to be re-trained on proper technique. Then she tried haggling for larger tip 45 minutes into a hour massage. I walked out and I'll never return. It's a shame. I've been there multiple times over the years and normal the massages are good. I don't know who hired that massuse, but they should rethink that decision.

Great little spot to get a quick massage if you don't have time to make an appointment. There are usually able to get you in without one. One of the great things about little hole in the wall Asian Spas like this, is their ability to do the back walking which I really enjoy. The prices are reasonable and haven't gone up as much as a lot of the name brand massage places around town. All in all a great little spot to get a good last minute massage in if you're in the area. Highly recommended!
