Svette Sauna

What a gem here in Tacoma! Very unique and fun experience. My fiance was in town and we wanted to do something different. With it being Thanksgiving day, there was not a lot open. Fortunately, Svette was open and we grabbed a morning time slot. It was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The sauna was nice and clean. Plenty of areas for storage. The view of the cold plunge at the sound was incredible. Friendly and informative staff. Had great conversations with the others who booked the same time slot. Would highly recommend! Will be back ourselves soon 🙂

Svette is an incredible new addition to Owen Beach, the owners Hayley and Leon are lovely and have always been terrific sauna hosts! The sauna setup is consistently clean/well maintained, with a useful mobile app to boot. Ive been going there since the summer and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future!

Seriously can’t rave enough about this local small business!!! Such an amazing addition to the community and Point defiance park. Hayley and Leon are so so so sweet- the sauna is amazing, clean and HOT!!! The steam water has lavender in it which is incredible and the fact that you can do either the 75 minute sessions or a drop in for 20 minutes is so so appreciated!!! Also nothing like being able to do sauna and then cold plunge in the Sound. So grateful for them!!

The sauna along the ocean was such an enjoyable experience! Everything was clean, comfortable, and well set up. The heat, the view, and the ocean water created a very calming atmosphere. Stepping out into the crisp ocean air and taking the cold plunge was invigorating. The contrast of hot and cold left me feeling completely refreshed, energized, and grounded all at once. Went with some friends and it was a really nice way to unwind and reset. This oceanfront sauna and cold plunge is an absolute must experience in Tacoma! I’d definitely do it again.

Five stars all around!! I want to make this a weekly thing… the peace that the water brings + all the benefits of contrast therapy. Get yourself in for a Svette sesh asap. Thanks for bringing this to Tacoma you guys!!

Great addition to our wellness space in Tacoma! The experience was wonderful - clean, easy, convenient. We are lucky to be able to combine this sauna experience with Owen beach and complete contrast therapy - in a truly beautiful setting!

We had a beautiful & relaxing sauna session! The cedar smells amazing and it is so clean! The hosts were very friendly and helpful and we cold plunged in the ocean after! Will be back!
