I recently visited The Ladies Room right before moving as an "adieu" to living in Seattle-central and it was the perfect way to relax before an intense week of packing boxes! I was welcomed in by their friendly staff and changed into my plush robe that was provided before unwinding in their relaxation room. I really enjoyed the hot herbal tea and the selection of self-discovery books to browse through before heading to the saunas and pools. I loved the assortment of wellness facilities that are offered at TLR; from the multi-temp pools, steam room, dry sauna, as well as the sauna that features a Himalayan salt brick wall (as a salt fiend, I appreciate this greatly). There are also rooms for massages and skin treatments, but I didn’t use those services, so I can’t properly speak to them — but it’s on my to-do list for when I return! I spent my visit there alternating between the saunas/steam room before sitting in the hot pool while reading (a book about the history of salt… This review is making me realize that maybe I like salt a little too much, ha!) and taking a few cold plunges to reset. There is a beautiful mural above the plunge-pools and I was told by the staff that it was painted by a local artist — love that! Overall, I had a very pleasant and relaxing trip to TLR. The facilities were exceptionally clean and it is an environment that fosters wellness, healing, and positivity. Visiting day spas like this is one of my favorite things to do when I travel, so I’m happy to finally have found a place in the city where I live where I can come to unwind and find my inner calm. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Thank you, The Ladies Room!
Facilities are fine, saunas are hot. If you enjoy the industrial noise while soaking in pools, that’s your spot. Bonus point is pool lights shining straight into your face. The vents are not insulated and you can see and hear all the loud pipes above your head. The sound is like "construction on the next block" and it’s constant. Not my type of relaxation. I personally prefer to listen to calm music in spas. Overall not the worst spa I’ve been to, but won’t come back 🙂
The Ladies Room was truly just what I needed. The space was so peaceful, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were very nice as well. I went on a Thursday in the afternoon and there were only a handful of other ladies there which was nice. I did not get any services but will definitely be going back to enjoy the spa and try a massage and/or facial. I’m so happy I found this place! 🩷🧖🏼♀️😌
Mostly lovely experience. I’ve been a handful of times and find that it can feel a bit too full. The other spas in town tell you to arrive early to check in but when I tried doing the first appt of the day, they didn’t even open the doors until 5 mins after my apt time and the dry sauna was not up to temp. I feel like there are signs everywhere (and the front desk shoves the rules in your face) that it’s a silent area but every time I’ve gone there have been groups that believe the rules don’t apply to them. I think it would be nice to have actual quiet hours and then more social hours during different parts of the day. I find this space cleaner (and better smelling) than Banya 5 though.
My spouse planned the most beautiful little day away from home and work for me at this spa, and I’m SO glad he chose this place. Even while he’s away for work, he coordinated everything with Ellie, and he said she was incredible the entire time. I got to meet her in person and she was just as sweet and accommodating as he described. You can truly tell they care about the experience from start to finish. Phones aren’t allowed, so I was not able to get any photos, but honestly, that just adds to the peace. If you’re looking for a place to truly relax and disconnect, this is it. Sundays are their social days, but from what I read, the other days are quiet days… and I will absolutely be back to experience that. Now let’s talk about the REAL gem here: SALLY. She did my massage and oh my goodness… I deal with constant upper and lower body aches, and during my session I genuinely felt like I was floating in the clouds. She has the hands. Truly gifted. It felt like purpose flowed through her touch. I walked out feeling lighter, looser, and completely reset. Overall, such an amazing first experience. I can’t wait to come back and next time, I’m staying even longer. Side note — PARKING, I included a picture of the parking behind the building. The red X, DO NOT PARK THERE!!! Park in the yellow please or you’ll end up receiving ugly sticky notes from the ones who actually pay for the parking spots there. I’m sure it probably was just a long day for them so leave such notes but just a FYI!
So much needed "me" time. Many options to choose from - dry sauna, steam room, infrared sauna, hot and warm pools, cold plunge - choose your adventure. I appreciate the focus on no devices, talking, for a true relaxing experience. Disconnect, read book. The relaxation room is so beautiful and has water and tea.
What an incredible experience! I booked the 2-hour hydrotherapy session, followed by the most relaxing 1-hour massage with Sally, and an hour-long facial with Madi—and it was pure bliss from start to finish. I came in needing to de-stress and release all the tension my body was holding, and left feeling completely renewed. The robes were super soft and fluffy, and the relaxation room with tea was the perfect way to unwind before and after my treatments. The facility was spotless, the atmosphere serene, and the staff were warm and welcoming. I honestly didn’t want the experience to end! Next time, I’ll definitely be adding the scrub to make it an even more indulgent escape. I’ll absolutely be booking again on my next trip. Highly recommend!
