Tikkun Holistic Spa

AVOID!! I'd give them ZERO STARs, if I could!!! My gfs and I planned a fun Galentine's spa day the week before Valentine's. We saw that they were listed (top billing) as a participating spa on the Spa Week website, where you can buy gift certificates. When we called to schedule our appointments and mentioned the gift cards they said they no longer accept them. Furthermore, they were insisting that we pre-pay for our services. We found this very strange - I get taking credit card info to avoid a no-show, but I've never experienced paying for a spa service up front! When we questioned the gift card s. acceptance, the receptionist, Jasmin, didn't apologize, didn't try to make it better, but copped an attitude and said, "Yeah, we need to remove ourselves from there." Well, you didn't, so that's false advertising. I explained how hearing this would be upsetting, especially since we had this day planned. She said she was just the messenger, so asked to speak to the manager or owner, who had decision making authority. She said there's wasn't;t any manager there (?!) that it was her day off, but she would reach out to her and have them give me a call - great! I was getting nervous as our appts were approaching, but I finally received a call back. The girl on the other end of the phone said her name was Jen and immediately said, without any pleasantries and apology, "we don't accept those gift cards." Again, I stated that their spa is listed, top billing, as a participating Santa Monica spa. With a little further questioning, she then let it slip that she wasn't the Manager. She was the esthetician, who didn't want to lose the appointment (or accept a discounted gift certificate - we know how it works).So, she was impersonating someone?! I told her I was expecting a call from a Manager, someone with decision making authority, and to call me back when they were able to reach her - this was all. waste of time. Right before our appts, we still hadn't heard back, so we decided to show up for our scheduled appts. We get to the spa, which has an intercom system to be buzzed in, and they wouldn't answer the door. They knew it was us, as they had wide open afternoon appts (not a good sign of a thriving spa, just saying!). They not only wasted our money, but also our time. Reading up on the owner, she has been involved in various other scams. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT COMING HERE!!!!! We ended up going to The Massage Center o n Sawtelle, which I highly recommend.I understand not wanted to accept gift certificates from a third party source, because it's a discounted profit, but, in that case, take yourself off of the site, because it's either false advertising on the website's end or fraud on your end Tikkun. Either way, I will tell EVERYONE I KNOW TO AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!

I had a Divine Alignment session with Ramona and loved my experience! I had zero expectations and didn't really know what to expect - I walked in feeling very anxious, wound up and stressed. I left the session feeling 10x lighter, like I was floating almost and overall calm. The little aches in my body seemed to have melted away. I'm excited to come back! She was incredible and super warm.

I absolutely loved my visit to this spa. The therapist was gentle and very skilled, paying attention to every detail. The atmosphere was warm, quiet, and perfect for relaxation. I left feeling lighter, happier, and fully rejuvenated.

We went on a Monday so it wasn't crowded. The Groupon rate was $20 each. The rooms are small, 4 people Max unless u have absolutely no personal space bubble. Two of the rooms were not working (co-ed clay and women's dry sauna). Parking was relatively inexpensive - we stayed for about two hours and paid $3.50. For the price, was ok.

Place is very nice serene and quiet. Staff is friendly and Mai was great. Large selection of services.

It's a soft, fresh breeze tickling the soul, nonfiltered metal and spiritual exscape  As you journey through there many magnificent sauna rooms, after receiving a, majestic, Swedish massage. It was "angelic." ma; my masseuse, an angel without wings who's hands captured beauty,peace  and tranquility.  This place is earthy, transcending pungent scents to fill the nose, impurities are removed by a Korean clay sauna, euphoria..... the hot, humid breeze that feels moist and thick, rejuvenating.....i keep going on to the Arctic room getting closer to my relaxing destination, I enter the Himalayan salt room elated one pleasure at a time. After some time, ( 4 to 8 )I notice that this is just what I needed. Don't just live be alive.....

No other spa can compare to Tikkun. I had an incredibly relaxing, positive experience coming to Tikkun. The employees are truly passionate about the work they do and greet you with amazing energy and professionalism. I got the V Steam and will be rebooking. The experience is unbeatable, especially factoring in the access to their amenities such as the infrared room, salt room, sauna, steam room, and showers. This isn’t just the most luxurious, unique spa in LA. It’s the best worldwide.
