What a great experience! The spa was wonderful and relaxing, so well equipped and they created such a calm experience. The staff was so helpful and friendly, every interaction was lovely. I got a massage at the end of my stay and that was one of the best I've ever had. If i lived in Cali would definitely be getting a membership.

Had a lovely massage at BW Santa Monica. I had the hot stone enhancements, my masseuse was really good with the stones. It's always nice to be able to enjoy the other spa services they offer. Between the jacuzzi, the sauna, steam room and maybe the best of all the quiet room. Not to mention the lovely "spa infused" water and teas. I've been going to this location on and off for several years and my only comment would be, it could use a little updating in the decor, it is located in a coastal town after all. Definitely will be back. Update: I went back and much to my surprise, they have updated the decor beautifully!! Well done BW! My friend and I would like to think we had a small hand in this with our first review 😉 The main lounge now has a nice relaxing, comfortable coastal vibe!

The Burke Williams Team is exceptional. Rita, Mark and other Management go out of their way to ensure a high quality experience. I highly recommend Akiko for massages and Ethan for facials. Akiko's technique for deep tissue is intuitive and highly effective. Ethan's technique for facials is gentle and left my face glowing for days. I am especially grateful for the kindness Ethan showed during an especially difficult day for me. This Spa is highly recommended! Recent Update: Thank you for the excellent guest experience! The front desk and the other staff are always so pleasant and helpful whenever I go! I took my daughter for her first facial for her 17th birthday. She was so happy with the results and the service overall; her esthetician, Brittany, was terrific.

One of my favorite day spas with a quiet room to sleep after a good facial and massage . Suana , steam room, mist room all available with jacuzzi for socializing and a quiet jacuzzi for meditation.

I’ve been coming to this location for some time now, a couple years as a member. It can be, but is not consistently a 5 star experience, but I hope this can be changed. Massages are usually great, love the infused beverages, love the infused wash clothes, the ambiance is amazing, especially with the recent updates, the place is always clean, staff is overall polite. My one huge issue, which I’ve given feedback on, is with the quiet room on some days. I’ve talked to staff about this several times and they eventually offered ear plugs, which helps, but not 100%. The purpose of the quiet room from by understanding is that it’s "quiet", a place to disappear, disconnect and relax. My problem is that there are days that staff are coming in constantly calling names for scheduled appointments. This is so startling and is so very disruptive, not what the experience should be at all. They even come in a few minutes before scheduled appointments, like at 1:58pm. I feel it’s fair to hold guests accountable to be in the main room by their scheduled time. I don’t think we adults/ guests should be searched for in the entire building and especially in the quiet room. We are told to be in the main room before our scheduled time and if we are not, those minutes should be deducted from our treatment time. It’s called accountability and we should all be accountable to abide by the guidelines. Related to this, there should be a clock in the quiet room!!! This can help us guest keep track of the time so we don’t have to bring our cellphone in ( which supposedly is not allowed), but we’re not given another option to tell time. This is my huge huge complaint. Please stop having employees come into the quiet room so often. Definitely NOT to call names and maybe every 30min ( I wish every hour) just to check on it to tidy up as needed, but NOT every 15min. I’ve had employees come in JUST to toss something into the trash. Twice in one day it was a young man… which is even more uncomfortable since I have nothing on under my robe. I believe 95% of these disruptions to the quiet room can absolutely be avoided. It’s one of the things I look forward to the most after my relaxation massage, but i end up leaving irritated instead of relaxed on those days with so many interruptions. Please make some changes. It really is ridiculous on some days.

Got the monthly membership for my pregnant wife and she says the massages here are the best she has ever had. She fell asleep the first 80min massage I got her, and that is the first time that has ever happened. Usually, she doesn't feel 100% comfortable with the massage therapist and can't fully relax, but had a great experience here.
