Amazing experience with Salus Saunas! We set up everything at our house and before we could use it, our house flooded in a hurricane. We had to move and ended up having to take everything apart and move it, as well as order replacement parts that we lost in the flood. The support team at Salus Sauna was seriously amazing - with everything going on it was so nice to have someone respond immediately to my emails when I needed help ordering new things and they made it SO incredibly easy. After listening to an hour and half Joe Rogan podcast, we were sold on Salus Saunas! After years of extensive research on health benefits, heaters and saunas, we decided on a Festive 6 person sauna from Salus, & it has changed our lives! Our son uses it daily before or after his daily intense weight lifting workouts & myself , wife & daughters do the same nightly- new highly anticipated family ritual to unwind! Shipping was fast, assembly was a breeze & the customer service doesn’t stop once your sauna is delivered! From the mood lighting, wi fi connected Harvia 9 kw heater, Bluetooth built in speakers for your iPhone … Salus thought of everything! Angelle, Sam and Sal have been invaluable resources quickly responding to set up questions! Don’t deprive yourself, if you are considering, I’ve done the research & can confirm we waited far too long before pulling the trigger! We ordered the Prestige barrel sauna from Salus Saunas. We worked with 2 sales people and they were very helpful in helping us decide which sauna. The materials to build the sauna arrived fairly quickly. My recommendations for future buyers would be: 1) Verify all dimensions. The dimensions listed on the page for the Prestige model are different than the dimensions of the completed product. We put our sauna indoors in our basement and therefore, lost space that we were not counting on losing. 2) Verify the layout of the benches. The benches we thought we were receiving were benches that would go from the front of the sauna to the back of the sauna on each side. What we ended up receiving was an L-Shaped bench. This forced us to have to put our heater on the front wall, which we didn’t really want to do and which we hadn’t originally planned for when our electrician did the pre-electric work for the sauna. 3) Verify that all items needed for the sauna are in stock. We upgraded to the Huum heater. Our Prestige sauna has been built and ready to go for 10 days now but we haven’t been able to use it. Why? Because we never received the Huum rocks/stones. They are supposedly on backorder and that would have been nice to know at time of purchase. I think part of the problem with this situation is my husband reaches out and they keep saying they will send them. I feel they could have gone an extra step here. 4) Go through the build directions available on the product website before purchase. The directions for the Prestige model were also for 2 other different models. It made the directions confusing. I will say though, customer service was a tremendous help in this area. It took us longer to put together than what we expected and were told. I can’t review the actual sauna yet because we haven’t been able to use it. I look forward to that day. I will update my review if anything changes. UPDATE 2.6.24 Salas Saunas reached out to us and wanted to make things right so I have updated my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. First, they sent us extra stones for our heater. Second, they talked to us about our heater placement, which was too high. We knew this, but we were worried it would be too close to the curved side of the sauna wall since we had to put it on the front wall. They convinced us to move the heater down more and said they would send out a heat guard to protect people entering the sauna. We are just waiting on the heat guards now, but we are so excited to use the sauna! I think Salas Saunas’ customer service team went above and beyond and you won’t get that with a big box store. I have added more pictures with the heater moved down and the stones placed in the heater.
Update - we had an issue with out Huum heater. George at Salus Saunas was able to push back on the initial denial of the warranty and get us a new main module after it burned out due to a manufacturing issue. He saved us almost $1K. we are so grateful for the excellent costumer support and overall highly professional and thoughtful experience. Highly recommend this company dedicated to its customers We had the best experience with Salus Saunas. Javier was easy to work with and made sure to address all of my concerns. He helped me find the perfect sauna for my backyard. We went with the Huum heater which is absolutely beautiful, powerful and has wifi app control. We got everything delivered 1 week after ordering and it took a few days to assemble it all. We had a few questions during assembly and Salus helped us resolve it quickly. Highly recommend this team
Salus sauna Nordic II is just a game changer! I have just started using it and I already can feel many benefits as improved blood flow, relaxation, workout recovery and joint and muscle relief. Thanks to the whole team for being so professional and to George for the great tech support making himself available anytime and any day to help! 5 stars team all day!
Excellent service. Very professional and helpful during purchase and setup. Especially when it came to working with our electrican and explaining the setup steps. Eventually they arranged for a professional installer to come to us which was amazing. Post-sales service has also been great. Very good company and great people.
