Go Spa

This is my "regular" place for a massage in Rapid City. The prices are great, and I get the deep massage that my muscles in need. I see the negative reviews that are left. Here are more than a couple of years old, so the real score on this place should be in the high for star range. A Chinese massage like this is not the place to go for simple relaxation, but they are experts at getting the knots out, and relieving tension.

Absolutely horrible. 10/10 DONT RECOMMEND. Damp towels and cold rocks isn’t relaxing. Asked several times to lighten the pressure and she just smiled and ignored me. Literally find anywhere else to go.

Amazing prices, very good massages, and personally I do not enjoy making small talk the whole time or taking off some clothing and neither of those happens here so bonus points in my book.

Unfortunately I went in specifically looking for acupuncture. I asked the guy. He said they did and I would be 35 dollars for a half hour. I told him I just got a massage last week and some cupping done but was trying to get this knot out of my shoulder. He said yeah OK and had me lay down on a massage table and proceeded to just give me a massage for 30 minutes and sent me on my way. This wasn't what I came in for or asked for. I assumed then that he was massaging me to loosen me up before the acupuncture. Bummer.

I have had hundreds of massages over the years have tried many different massage businesses within the Rapid City area and Go Spa is by far the best massage I have ever experienced. I have been experiencing a significant amount of pain lately and Go Spa took the time to attend to my individual needs and preferences. I prefer very hard pressure so I know I can kind of be a difficult customer. They made sure my needs were met far beyond expectation. Thank you Go Spa!

I have been going here for about 3-4 years. I have never caught their names but would assume they are the owners and from reading the reviews...sounds like Helen and David. They give great massages. Now there is a young kid about 6-8 mths ago he gave me my massage and at that time I swore I would not go to him again. And I haven't until today...was really needing one. He barely touched me...when I looked up to tell him...he could use more pressure...I seen a device laying next to my head...figured he was listening to music or something. He definitely used more pressure I thought he was going to break me in half using his elbows. He needs experience I get that ..but I think he needs to to work on his technique and obviously he should stay off his phone. Never touched my arms or neck. I don't like to make people feel bad when I ask for a certain person but from now I won't go to him ...if he is the only person available I'll go somewhere else.

I will not go back. He talked loudly to his coworker Throughout my whole massage.Then left me for 10 minutes to tend to people wanting gift cards at the desk. I wasn't going to tip him at all,but put down a measly 3 bucks.He pointed to it a d said NO! 5 here ! I said no and he threw my receipt at me.And he wanted cash instead of my debit.pointed to a cash please sign
