Love it! Staff is friendly and welcoming! Very professional. The relaxation room is just that with cozy chairs, snacks and drinks! Very clean. I would highly recommend coming here! The massage was great and just what I needed… I did unexpectedly get a male BUT it was very professional he did not make me feel uncomfortable in anyway and i could tell he knew what he was doing and listened to my problem areas! I wish I could remember his name but either overall great place to go!!
We had a wonderful time! A friend and I met for the Salt Cave and had a fantastic time. Check in was easy, Madison was great! The salt cave is a must experience. So relaxing, they tuck you in with a cozy blanket and give an eye mask and dim the lights. The salt has numerous health benefits. The lounges were cozy and had waters and tea and snacks. The locker room/restrooms were clean and very nice. Will visit again!
I scheduled myself a spa day for my birthday at Skin Sense. I showed up to my appointment an hour early. I sat in the sauna for a little while, and then rinsed off in the showers. My masseuse, Joy, came to get me from the relaxation room and immediately was friendly and warm. The massage was excellent and I felt so relaxed the entire time. Joy checked in with me periodically to ensure the pressure was to my liking- of course it was! She has magic hands! After my massage was over, the front desk folks seemed to be dealing with a difficult customer- but they were kind and accommodating for the entire conversation (that I overheard). This gave me time to peruse the merchandise in the front office area- I got myself a cute little hair clip and hair tool cover! I always enjoy my time at Skin Sense and recommend their services to all my friends and family. 10/10 great birthday massage!
I visited Spa Sense in Raleigh today for the salt cave experience after a friend recommended it. While the salt room itself was beautiful and the sound healing practitioner was wonderful, the front desk customer service was extremely disappointing and overshadowed the visit. When we arrived, Leila did not greet us, and her demeanor immediately felt unwelcoming. She asked for my information without telling us her name or offering any kind of welcome. When she showed us to the waiting area, she provided no guidance about where to put our belongings, what amenities were available, or what to expect. We were left sitting there without any orientation. Another staff member, Melissa, later entered and assisted a different group by clearly explaining where to put their belongings and how everything worked. This confirmed that this level of service was possible but had not been extended to us. When we mentioned that we had not been given any information, Melissa responded, "I’m helping you now," in a dismissive and snarky tone. Throughout the experience, it felt like we were treated differently than other guests. Blankets were offered to others first, and only afterward were we asked if we wanted one. By that point, the interaction had already been uncomfortable. I have worked in customer service for many years and understand that busy days happen, but basic courtesy, professionalism, and making guests feel welcome are fundamental expectations, especially at a spa where the purpose is relaxation and care. The salt cave itself was peaceful and beautifully designed, and the sound healing portion was excellent. However, the front desk experience made me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a guest. Because of the way we were treated, I would not return or recommend this spa. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures staff are properly trained to provide a welcoming and respectful experience to all guests.
Yesterday I went to do a salt cave session with my sister. Everyone who worked there was super friendly. I have been to many spas before but this one is definitely the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. When they take you back, be ready to be amazed. The decor and lighting is absolutely stunning. The salt cave exceeded my expectations. Everything was so well thought out and put together. I will definitely be back. Very beautiful spa.
I was honestly nervous about getting a massage from someone new, but I 10/10 do not regret booking with Samantha. She welcomed me like she’d known me forever and took the time to really listen to where I was holding tension. She focused exactly where I needed it, and the deep tissue massage was incredibly relieving. I felt so much better afterward that I immediately booked my next session with her — and I can’t wait to go back!
i loved my experience here! Anna did an amazing gua sha facial on me- i looked so much better afterwards. I also got a milk and honey body treatment from her. It was incredible! My skin is so soft and rejuvenated. I feel like a new person.
