We booked one Custom Massage and one Deep Tissue. Upon arrival we confirmed with the front desk. Exact question was: "I just want to confirm this isn’t Thai massage?" And the answer was an unequivocal "No, you booked a Custom massage which is a mix of deep tissue and Swedish." Within fifteen seconds of the massage starting, the therapist was on the table with her knees in my back. Same for my partner. And it was a decent Thai massage. No shade on the massage therapists. But not what we booked. After the massage, when we let the front desk know, her reaction was "oh, ha" and a shrug. We won’t be returning.

I just had the best massage of my life! This is my second time going to The Raven Spa in Silverlake and I am now hooked. Milk was my masseuse and she was absolutely incredible! I felt that she was intuitive and took time to learn my body and figure out what I needed throughout my hour long deep tissue massage. From the amazing interaction I had with Christine at the front desk to the time I left, I felt cared for. This place and the people who work here are truly special. I will be back many many more times. Thank you for being such beautiful gem to this city.

Overall, the massage itself was good, and I really appreciated the refreshments afterward. My rating was mainly based on the environment rather than the quality of the massage. The room felt quite bright, and I would have preferred dimmer lighting and a slightly warmer temperature to create a more relaxing atmosphere. I also think gentle aromatics could help enhance the overall calming experience. While the water sounds were nice, they felt a bit too distant , I could hear traffic outside, which made it harder to fully relax. Also, the headrest positioning caused my lips to lightly touch part of the table, which pulled me out of the experience a bit. I kinda felt like i was in a doctors office??? For me, a massage is most effective when the environment allows me to completely let go and not think about the setup while I’m receiving it. Although the massage itself was well done, these factors made it less relaxing than I had hoped. Idk if it was because it was later in the day and some elements of the experience was looked over???

I went to the Silverlake location with my partner for a 1 hour couples massage - my massage was decent for the price and I liked the environment. The post-treatment tea + date, orange + apple slices was a delightful touch. Fruit tastes kind of psychedelic when you’re relaxed and feeling empty. However, my partners masseuse Patty repeatedly talked during the massage and kept loudly repeating that his back was tight to the point where it made both of us kind of uncomfortable. He really didn’t enjoy the quality of the massage and left feeling more stressed than when he came in. Not the end of the world, but definitely helps to know who to book with here.

A close friend gifted me a massage at the Raven Spa Silverlake and I finally made it there. I chose the Thai Massage and it was the best massage I have ever received. The reception, staff and environment are all very calm and welcoming. Enjoyed the tea and fruit you are offered as you come down from your post massage high. I can't count how many times I have driven by this magic place- looking forward to going back...

Loved the ambience and the massage. I don't usually expect massages to be healing for the most part and hope for something relaxing at least. The massage here achieved both. Wonderfully relaxing Swedish massage, combined with some pressure left me feeling so much better than I walked in !

This was the most authentic traditional Thai massage I have ever experienced outside of Thailand itself! Nana was such a great therapist and healer. I highly recommend having the 90 mins massage with her, it was truly amazing and brought tears to my eyes at the end (in a good way) as I could feel how much tension had been released thanks to Nana's massage techniques. The front desk was very inviting. Christine, the spa manager together with Stephanie, the esthetician on staff greeted me upon arrival and made me feel right at home! I loved the set up of the place and it fondly reminded of my time traveling through Thailand. I will definitely be back and I am so happy to have found this beautiful gem in LA, big thanks to you all at Raven Spa, I can't wait to visit again in a couple of weeks!
