Customer Reviews
Awe Spa has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on over 132 reviews on Google
One of the best massages of my life. We booked a couples massage for my birthday, based on their excellent ratings, and it was fantastic. The price was great too! Posh and Nina (pictured) did an awesome job with our combo massages with hot stones and aroma therapy. Everything about the massage was wonderful, and I appreciated they both kept checking in for feedback. Nat at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. The spa was nicely decorated, relaxing, and comfortable with beautiful music. I left feeling amazing! Can't wait to return.
I arranged a massage at Awe Spa after being in 2 rear-end car accidents in 5 months (crazy, right?). My lower back was having tight and spasms, and my neck and shoulders very very tight. I got a 60 combo massage with hot rocks and cbd oil. I suspected my back might be a bit sensitive to a more vigorous massage but I knew I needed some help. It was the right move! The therapist that gave me the massage worked out all of the knots in my shoulders and performed really deep massage in my lower back. I felt like a new person the next day. The spa has a very relaxing mood inside and the staff is very welcoming and respectful during the massage. They offer tea afterwards for the full experience. The location in Larchmont is very convenient and it is easy to find parking. Highly recommend! I will definitely return.
I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage at Awe Spa and it was really healing. The therapist mixed in Ashiatsu and some Thai-style stretches, which I didn’t ask for, and it would’ve been nice to be asked before the session. Still, the massage really helped my body unwind. I’d definitely go back, but next time I’ll ask for only deep tissue
We had an unsatisfactory experience at AWE Massage. We booked a couples massage and specifically requested two female massage therapists, which we communicated in advance due to personal comfort preferences. During the appointment, we were assigned one female therapist and another therapist who did not match our request. We were not informed of this beforehand and did not realize the mismatch until after the massage was completed. Had this been disclosed earlier, we would have chosen whether to proceed or reschedule. Additionally, the quality of the massage itself was below expectations, lacking the level of professionalism and technique we have experienced at other establishments. This review is not a judgment of any individual, but reflects concerns about clear communication, honoring customer requests, and overall service quality. For these reasons, we do not plan to return.
I got a 1 hour deep tissue massage and WOW. Ask for miss Brenda, she will find those knots and get them out. She spent so much time on my shoulders [where I desperately needed it] and was so kind to go over time so she could make sure it was full body massage. I appreciate how much dedication she put into making sure I left feeling better than I came in. I even left with a free Thai tea! Will definitely be returning. Only thing is you can hear things from outside your room, but it wasn’t distracting to me.
Really good massage overall, but i specifically came in because my shoulder really hurts and she focused a lot of time on the rest of my body and not neatly enough time on my shoulder. Hurts just as bad as when I came in - which is a lot. I really wish she had gotten a few of the knots out because it feels a bit like wasted time and money to not have my issue fixed.
I experienced a 90 min "deep tissue" massage here that was a standard Thai massage, though I was charged for the deep tissue. It was probably the least satisfying massage I’ve ever experienced, as the masseuse’s motions were very rushed and seemingly inexperienced. The music seemed to be set to a single track on a loop which also started driving me kinda nuts. There are many massage places around this area so I suggest selecting a different establishment.
