Your Microspa, Massage & Facials in Longmont

Vanessa recently gave me a fascial and I could not be more pleased. I live in Florida and unfortunately can therefore not get regular fascials with Vanessa. I took a bad fall last year and after having my right wrist in a cast for 8 weeks, medications and just general trauma, my skin had lost its luster and looked very dull. I also have rosaca. Vanessa gave me a microneedeling and LED light treatment, recommended a couple of extra products and my skin looked dramatically different within a week. Aging skin can be tricky at times but the right treatments and products sure make a difference. Vanessa is knowledgeable, caring and experienced in her field of esthetics and massage. Highly recommend her and look forward to my treatments whenever I am there.

Microspa is on my list forever concerning reflexology because her skill level is exceptional. I literally feel energy circulating through my body while she works during our sessions and my circulation seems vastly improved! Her office space has easy parking and has a luxurious and comfortable feel. Her office is also easy to locate and drive to…total pluses. I am truly pleased to have found this business. Like other reviewers have shared, Vanessa truly is gifted in what she does and she provides helpful education to clients on how they can take care of themselves between sessions. Recently I went to see her for a massage because my lower back and right arm were in significant pain, and a few days after seeing her, I've regained more range of motion in my right arm.

Vanessa Slattery is the sole owner and massage therapist of MicroSpa in Longmont, CO. My experience with her over the last year was unprofessional, demeaning, and seemingly vindictive. It appears she refuses business if you either have back tightness/spasms or if you do not see her on a regular basis. My last online booking was for August 19, 2024, at 4:05pm for a 90-minute massage (booked on Sunday, August 18). I received a text as well as an email confirmation that stated she was "happy to see me, and thanking me for confirming the appointment, etc." When I showed up to the August 19th appointment at 4pm, the minute I opened the door to her building, she was sitting on the couch in the lobby. Per the look of disgust on her face, I knew something wasn’t right, so I asked to use the bathroom so I could refocus. When I returned, I noticed she wasn’t in the massage room, so I walked back out to the lobby, and she immediately started questioning me as to why I was there. I stated, "For a massage because I have upper back/shoulder and neck tightness." She verbally demeaned and abused me by behaving unprofessionally and disrespectfully telling me that she could have filled the spot 1.5 years ago when I came to her with back pain. She was expecting me to come back to her, but I still had back pain that she refused to treat, so I went back to my other massage therapist who would see me the following day. I also reminded her that she was the one who turned me away that day so this is not my problem. Having said all of this, Vanessa is good at her craft as a massage therapist, but her bedside manners have and always have been lacking. When I go to a massage therapist, I expect to be treated with respect and dignity and I also want to feel relaxed, calm and be at peace. Massages are supposed to be a good experience, not a bad one. And she treated me like I was the last person she wanted to see step foot into her spa. It felt like she wanted me drive to the appointment just to lecture/belittle me as well not give me a massage. It is really unfortunate that her personality doesn’t reflect the professionalism of her website.

Vanessa is truly gifted. She intuitively knows the body and I always leave her place feeling 100% better. My body just thanks me for visiting her. I live in NYC and haven't found anyone as gifted as Vanessa. I cannot recommend her enough.

Over the last few years I have had many Spa experiences with Vanessa. She is extremely gifted in many ways. I thought I had experienced reflexology before her but after a session where she worked on my feet for an hour and I felt fantastic all over for a week I realized she was the real deal and what I had experienced before was pleasant but just ok. I have had many massages with her and she does soulful, loving, expert work. She is knowledgeable and very skilled in deep tissue. She is also incredibly nurturing and tuned in to what ever is going on with you physically and psychologically. Her Facials are a delicious treat that leave my skin soft, dewy and refreshed. Recently I had Body Renewal Treatment that was so wonderful and enjoyable and nurturing, this will be my go to treat for my birthday every year from now on. I felt so taken care of and my skin was so soft and felt so amazing for weeks after. It is far more than just skin treatment though. The sensations of being wrapped and unwrapped, warmed, cooled, and all the various textures touch you to your core and rejuvenate you from the inside out. Who knew one could secure such a luxurious treatment in our little town? One of those best kept secrets to quality of life here.

Yesterday I was lucky to experience a 90 minute massage from Vanessa. The space is very comfortable and inviting. She has a way of making you feel welcome and at ease right away. In my pre-appointment paperwork I wrote a couple trouble areas and she remembered those details and we discussed before hand. She took care of all the trouble areas and did a great job explaining some techniques she was using with warm towels, and wedges etc. The experience was fantastic. I would definitely recommend having a massage appointment with Vanessa.
