Cora is such an amazing, talented and caring person. I had an excellent experience with her. I HIGHLY recommend hiring a doula as a part of your birth plan. The postpartum help from Desiree was also very beneficial. Cannot say enough good things about everyone working at Balanced Mama. They made me feel empowered and confident during my birth. My baby was born happy and healthy thanks to their support.

Cora and her team are AMAZING! Not only did they walk through everything, from how to be the best partner for your pregnant wife, how to massage her, how to be on the delivery day, to the positions, strategies, and all of the knowledge when it comes to this moment in life. My wife had an unmedicated birth, and if it was not for Cora, Alison, Melanie, and Dezaray it would not have been possible. Thank you Balanced Mama, you guys Rock!

After our experience with Balanced Mama, I consider having a doula by your side at birth absolutely necessary. You expect guidance and useful experience, which was provided in spades, but it really opened my eyes to the benefits of having a third-party advocate with you in the hospital environment. Their doula service is priceless - I cannot recommend Balanced Mama enough.

Cora is the absolute BEST! With her help, I was able to achieve my goal of a natural, unmedicated hospital birth. She was amazing and there for me and my husband throughout the entire process. I will not be giving birth again without her!!!! Seriously the best money ever spent. She was truly a God-send and I couldn’t have done it without her. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend.

Every service I've used at Balanced Mama has been top-tier. Cora's massages and body balancing, the birth class, the Big Blue Blanket meetings, and I cannot leave out working with Desiree as my doula. I am so incredibly grateful that I chose Desiree for my second pregnancy and delivery because she was exactly what I needed. Her experience, skill, and energy were invaluable. My labor and delivery were very difficult, but I am confident that the impact would have been much more traumatic without her support. I recommend to ANYONE.

I truly believe Desiree was necessary to us having a peaceful and calming first time birth - and after suffering through pregnancy loss, that’s just what we needed! Throughout my pregnancy, Desiree helped me manage my anxiety, identify triggers, and incorporate the love for our lost baby into our experience. She provided invaluable support during my labor to both me and my partner, who commented after that he doesn’t see how anyone could labor without a doula. We also attended the childbirth course here and Cora is a fountain of knowledge. We truly felt informed and confident going into our delivery. The prenatal massage is a must!

After using Cora and Balanced Mama during my pregnancy and delivery, I don’t know how anyone gives birth without a doula! And I would never want to. This team is so loving and made me feel so special, cared for, and listened to. It is probably the best money I’ve ever spent.
