I bought their top of the line mpulse. Immediately upon install by a good contractor, Only one of 5 infrared panels is working. After an hour on hold the recording changed from "we’ll help you shortly" to "we’re closed" at noon. It’s clear they are not going to ensure the product is functional, which the main feature is not. They want to walk you through fixing it yourself , even though my contractor has already "checked the connections". And that’s after you spend many hours simply trying to get in touch. Don’t buy from Sunlighten.

I just wanna say that I’ve had my Mpulse believe sauna now for a little over a month. I use it approximately 4 to 5 times a week and it has definitely been a game changer. I feel healthier, more relaxed, significant less sinus and nasal congestion. My skin seems to be better. I seem to recover quicker after my workouts and overall just feel significantly better. I want to say that the packaging and delivery service was amazing. I think the written directions were great but would highly recommend you access some YouTube videos that customers put out there that cover in more detail and easier to follow than the written directions. I definitely think it will save you time and has some important key points that are not covered in the directions. I also want to give a shout out to Larissa who was the sales person an agent I worked with she was very knowledgeable incredibly patient. I had just some minor issues with the internal fan and an error message but technical assistance was incredibly responsive again very patient very thorough. They have stood by their product and so far I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. I know there’s lots of where can be some negative comments out there. I did not experience any of the negative comments that are noted. Keep up the great work sunlighting. I look forward to using your product for many years to come and feeling healthier and better than ever before.

The customer service is horrible and they leave you to fix all issues as if each of these saunas is perfect and they are not. One of the Blaupunkt speakers in our two person sauna is hissing. Everything they told me was no help. They have no service technicians to come out to check the sauna out either. So, they try to call me at weird times saying they’d like to offer assistance. The issue is that there is nothing they can do because they do not service their saunas and realize you’re stuck. This company was zero help and sent automated callbacks. They can’t help you at all once you purchase their highly expensive equipment, at least in our experience. The blaupunkt speaker keeps hissing so I have to call an electrician to fix the issue. They’re automated phone calls from customer service reps who have zero capacity to help you. My advice is before you buy this $6,000 piece of equipment, know that anything that goes wrong with it is your responsibility. Now, I have to hire an electrician to fix their lousy speaker.

Buying our sauna was easy with the ever so friendly Meghan as our sales rep. She promised she would be there if we had any issues and when I wrote several emails, she dropped out of sight! So much for always being there… Our Amplify sauna came early (thanks to Meghan) in two huge, heavy boxes which sat on the front porch until we had an electrician come to upgrade our outlets and until we could find two people to hire to help us haul it up the stairs and put it together! I remember reading somewhere it was supposed to take one to two hours to put together. That’s funny. It took two grown men approximately 5 to 6 hours to haul it up the stairs and put it together start to finish. We spent an extra thousand dollars to do it. Now onto the review of the sauna! It’s gorgeous, Well-made and works like a charm! We love it. We use it every day. Just wish there was a little bit more truth-telling about the deliver and set up process because it’s a big deal. The good news is that’s all behind us and we absolutely do believe that this sauna is one of the best on the market! Highly recommend. 🤩

My experience with sunlighten was terrible. We ordered a custom sauna for our new house we were building. We spent hours communicating with sunlighten trying to get information on how to set up our sauna and how to prepare our house for the sauna during our building stages. We were told it was "so easy" and "NOTHING" needed done until the house was totally done. I knew this wasnt true but after countless emails and phone calls that was the only answers we could get. We were told it comes with "detailed" instructions on exactly how to build your sauna... well our house is completed and we tried to install our sauna and it was a total disaster! After 3 hours of unboxing everything and going through all material trying to figure out what everything was, we gave up and just decided to start with electrical. The only "instructions it came with was a content book which just had vague descriptions of what should be in the giant box they delivered. I decided to install the main power box first. In order to do this I had to cut a hole in my finished painted wall and pull out the insulation they told me to "fill the walls with. Making a giant mess in my new house and ruining my freshly painted wall in my brand new house. This would have been SO much easier if it was done during the framing stages when there wasnt paint, drywall, and insulation in my wall. I then had to figure out how to get the wires through the wall and into each heater box. Which means I had to basically cut out most of my drywall and pull out most of the insulation in my walls around the sauna. This was basically the only info we got from sunlighten that was very important, to FILL the walls with insulation and make sure it is insulated extremely well. Again this all would have been so much easier to do during the building stages of our house. But since we were told it didnt get installed until AFTER the house was done it was going to be extremely hard and messy. Not what I was wanted to do right when we are moving into our brand new house. We tried to get this info ahead of time and were told we didnt need to do anything until the house was done. When I opened the heaters that the book says to "wire together" it wasnt at all how I expected them to be. It didnt make any sense how you could get them wired and then fill the gaps with paneling. I couldnt figure out how to do it without tearing the heater apart to reroute the power wires and just cut the ends off to just wire nut them all together. My problem then would be there is nowhere to put the wires then and i would have to cut apart my entire wall on all 3 sides to try to hide the wires in the studs. Basically with no install instructions and how we would have had to tear apart the whole room we just paid to have drywalled and painted, we decided not to install the sauna. It was extremely frustrating that we tried for months to get more information and sunlighten just had nothing for us and said we didnt need to worry it will be so easy once the house is done and we send you the box with everything in it. At this point im so frustrated with how much of a disaster this has been from the beginning and how angry it makes me that the company is so uneducated and Unhelpful with helping people prepare their home for a custom sauna, that I just want to throw the whole sauna on our burn pile and burn it! I've lost so much money because of this im just sick that a company could be so useless at providing information about the product they sell....

I don't leave bad reviews. The only bad review I've ever left is for this company. I am leaving this because I don't want other people to waste their money on a sauna. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I have had this sauna for 2 years and it has broken 5-6 times. I have been sent repair part after repair part and spent more time than I can possibly tell you on the phone with technicians trying to repair this sauna - so much time they should be paying me as a repairman. I am a cancer survivor and bought this to use as a part of my recovery. Make sure and read reviews of people who have had their saunas for longer than a couple of months. They break down again and again. You will spend more time trying to repair it than being able to use it.

I’ve had the absolute worst time with Sunlighten. Paid them over 14k for high end mPulse 4 person sauna and the accessories package. I built the whole thing on day 1 when it was delivered. The LCD screen in the unit was all static like a 90’s TV on the wrong channel so they sent me a new one. When that one arrived, the unit still wouldn’t work. They thought it was an electrical issue with a USB so they sent me a technician that had to be drunk. The guy had no idea what he was doing. Then he left without it working. So I sent in the same error code and they said it was the power box. I rewired the whole power box and guess what….the same error message. I was on the phone with them for 2 hours yesterday and they promised management would call me back with how we could move forward - still haven’t heard anything. The phone support guys are actually really kind and seem helpful, but for a high end product they have handle this miserably. If it even worked once I would have hope. Maybe I just got a lemon, and they’re doing everything they can to not give me my money back and return this. See pictures. A few months worth of error messages. Save your money. The sales rep referred to this as the Ferrari of saunas (see picture) - what if you signed for a new Ferrari at the dealership and then it didn’t turn on. That’s the hell I’ve been dealing with for 2 months. BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM HELL.
