Bijou Hair Salon, Day Spa and Trichology Center

This was my first experience with the Japanese Head Spa but it won't be my last! Everything was wonderful and so relaxing. Seeing the before and after scalp analysis was cool! Jamana was my service provider and I'll be recommending her to everyone! That was one of the best shampoo/hair treatments I've ever received and I can tell she takes pride in her craft. 10/10!!

Services booked included a blowout with LaAngel. My first blowout as I just started growing out my hair. Asked for loose beach curls and got exactly what I expected ! Loved it. Ashley also did my makeup- beautiful looks and listened to exactly what I wanted. Left the salon feeling beautiful and wedding ready!

Worst experience of my entire life. I went in for a trim - asking for focus on my bangs. They had grown out to my cheekbones and I wear my hair up a lot with ym bangs out (see left picture for hair at beginning). I asked for the picture with blonde hair and received the picture on the right. I had specifically asked for wispy bangs that were not cut straight across and no shorter than my eyebrows. My hairstylist left me in the chair and never returned and the owner came over and attempted to fix it and then told me there was nothing they could do for me. They didnt style my hair or finish my haircut. I had to find another salon at 5pm on a saturday to fix this disaster and even they couldnt do much. My hair is RUINED!

I treated myself to a Japanese head spa. It’s different than a hair spa because it focuses on the scalp not just your hair. Casi (pronounced Kay-see) Croll did my treatment. She was knowledgeable and attentive, and made adjustments to the treatment accordingly. I enjoyed chatting with her as well about general hair health and products. She is open-minded, friendly and honest. I really appreciated that. Overall it was very relaxing. Loved the gentle water "halo" rinses. I was impressed by how healthy my scalp looked at the end. I don’t use much product and have generally good hair, but this was a good clean up for environmental build up, dryness, etc. the ‘goody’ bag is a nice touch. I did have to remind her about giving me a hair wrap at the end, and she forgot to give me the Merl Norman samples they set aside for me. I hope they start offering options for the eye patch. I found it too warm. The temperature is not adjustable and a cooling option should be available for people who run hot. It’s also healthier to use cooler or room temp water when possible.

I had an appointment with Jamana for the head spa. She was wonderful. So talented and kind. She even worked around my lash extensions to make sure they stayed in tact. It’s very easy to get addicted to the head spa.

This wasn’t the first time I’ve done a head spa, but it was my first one here. I would say it was very mediocre. I was freezing the entire time. She used Luke warm water and cold water. It was also very noisy in the salon so it was hard to truly relax. I left the salon with dripping wet hair and no brush through it which I found very odd. Every other time I’ve had one they at least dry your hair for you. A comb through and towel dry would have at least been nice. A lot of money for not the best experience.

I got the Japanese Scalp Massage and it was amazing! My hair feels so much nicer! I was suffering from headaches for nearly 2 weeks. Having this done really helped. I highly recommend April. She was very sweet, professional, and did a fantastic job. Overall, my experience was 100/10
