In short, Gigi charred my body - 6 months later I still have permanent scars from my laser hair removal session with her. Though "cheap" her services will end up costing you significantly more in the long run. If you want details… During my second and last session with Gigi, I experienced severe burns that resulted in permanent scars in several areas of my body. Despite repeatedly informing Gigi that the laser was causing significant pain and discomfort, she assured both me and the trainee present that everything was fine; they even laughed at me for over reacting. Gigi kept handing her trainee the laser gun to "practice" on me. I never consented to this. After my session, I realized that the burns were not just minor irritations; they were severe enough to impact my daily life significantly. The areas affected include under my buttocks, my chin, neck, pubic area, and behind my shoulders. The burns under my buttocks were so intense that I struggled to sit comfortably for weeks after the session. What makes this situation even more frustrating is Gigi’s complete lack of response and accountability. After reaching out multiple times to request a refund and discuss the injuries, I was met with silence and dismissive behavior. She even asked me to come back in, which I find highly inappropriate given the circumstances. Gigi is severely unprofessional - she always reeks of cigarettes and never completes an entire session herself. She is running a training school and is very very proud of her reviews - which makes me wonder if some of them are fake. She never provides a receipt for services rendered, and coerces you to pay in cash. She also pressured me to tip the trainee - again - I did not consent to her presence in my session, or her hands on my body. Please be cautious and consider your options carefully. I got duped even though I went for "maintainence" laser hair removal sessions. I hope no one else has to go through the pain and distress that I have faced.
