BASK Detroit

A beautiful facility with an amazing concept & great staff! Very grateful for the opportunity to try them out with Yelp! No pictures because this felt like a private treat 🙂 **Be warned that this is a co-ed facility - which was a bit intimidating for me personally - but there are small, separate locker rooms. There are some areas for improvement: 1) Top lockers are way too tall - even for me at 5'9". If you have a top locker you have to climb up to use it. 2) Need better drainage. Standing water everywhereeee - so be very careful walking. Wouldn't recommend to anyone with limited mobility. 3) Hoping this facility has the support to grow into a bigger space to offer separate tubs for genders.

Cannot recommend Bask enough! Very clean and modern sauna and cold plunges. Everyone I bring with a guest pass also loves it! The locker room also has amazing amenities! I was lucky enough to get a Founders membership, with the extra guest pass and other benefits. Very friendly staff everytime I visit as well!

I’ve been waiting for a place like this in Detroit! Beautifully designed, very clean, smells amazing, and friendly staff. The sauna is the best I’ve seen, a true Finnish design with cedar, natural light and excellent air circulation. The cold plunges are amazing, made out of carbon fiber and range in temperatures. I’ve visited solo and with friends and really enjoyed both experiences. I love the body products so much I purchased some for home. Beautiful patio to hang out with friends after a soak!

Wonderful experience. The atmosphere and team are incredible. This was a wonderful well priced way to kick off my holiday season. Will be back! Only thing I’d suggest is sending patrons an email beforehand letting them know what to bring ie sandals, bathing suit, etc. I was a little nervous as a first timer that I’d be unprepared. Although BASK is well stocked and will provide towels etc.

Loved this place. My wife took me here to celebrate my birthday. This spot is all about feeling being and feeling your best. They elevated what sauna and cold plunges are, although this was my does plunge. I not only would do this again. These folks got something is welcoming, community centered and forward thinking. Will be back and hope we can get something established further in suburbs of Detroit too! Would love to help support the community!

Went with my husband and son from out of town to have a break from the holidays. It was very relaxing to move from the cold plunges to the sauna. Staff was friendly and the Dyson hair dryer and high tech toilets were a nice touch. The only complaint is the amount of water on the ground. Drainage needs to be better or squeegeed often.

I’m so glad I joined! Loving the steam sauna and cold plunge combo. The staff are fantastic, the facility is quality. 10/10 Recommend.
