Ok so i was having credit card issues at check in the women refused to help got the supervisor and he refused to help me. Meanwhile im in the lobby with 5 kids including 2 toddlers and a newborn so that was fun. Finally there was a women who did everything to help best person at this resort I never caught her name or id call her out she was honestly the best part of my stay. She went to the manager and they helped me finally got to the room after almost 2 hours of being in the lobby. Then.... maybe I expect too much but no microwave tv barely any channels I guess my fault I didnt look at amenities. But then 2 elevators are broken and 2 work but 1 of the " working" elevators i had to pry open to get someone out of. Waited for so long for elevators. Thennnn I was ordering door dash and they were coming no problem then randomly on the 2nd day started refusing to let any door dasher up I called the front desk and said this is ridiculous and the young lady said ya well... and thats it.... it is absolutely not worth your money rude employees from the second I got here... im all about making my life as easy as possible with 5 kids but never would i ever spend another dime here after this weekend. Way to expensive for this experience very sad and disappointed The view is amazing and the only women that helped me were the best part of this stay. But never again im more frustrated then enjoying the weekend with my kids ( we were here for a cheer competition and I wanted to be as close to the convention center as possible thats why we picked it but definitely never again not worth it in any sense of the word)
I was very disappointed with my recent stay at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort. While the oceanfront location is beautiful and the view has great potential, the overall experience fell short. Upon entering the room, there was a noticeable smoke odor, which immediately made the space feel unclean and uncomfortable. The couch appeared dirty and worn, and there was even a visible cut in the upholstery exposing the inside of the couch. For a hotel of this reputation, that level of room condition was unacceptable. Although the room offered an ocean view, the exterior glass was so dirty that it was difficult to fully enjoy or clearly see the ocean. It was disappointing to pay for a view that couldn’t be appreciated. Additionally, only two elevators were functioning during our stay, which resulted in long lines and extended wait times just to access our room. This was especially frustrating during peak hours. Overall, the location is great, but the cleanliness, maintenance, and operational issues significantly impacted the experience. I hope management addresses these concerns for future guests.
The hotel is very nice with good food options. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The rooms could use a refresh but overall, it was comfortable and clean. Parking...the lot is across the street and a block away depending on what tower your in. We did valet, but just note the parking situation.
It was okay. Everyone was very kind. The view was nice, the area was decent, and the landscaping was well maintained. But the parking lot was not kept up, the exit gate was broken, I didn't feel safe walking across the street, and I didn't feel like my car was safe from being broken into either. For i costing so much money to park, I wish that I had felt better about the parking situation. Also, for how much the room cost, I expected it to be a bit cleaner. There were hairs left in the bathtub and floor. Everything was dated, and felt a bit worn down. Lack of free breakfast options was also disappointing: I understand having to pay for a warm breakfast, and having a few paid restaurant options are great, but not offering any kind of free breakfast option is kind of stingy. And if I have to pay for my hotel breakfast, I wish it was at least good. Like, when I bought my bagel, it was still frozen when they handed it to me. I paid $5 for an untoasted, dry, frozen bagel. Even Starbucks thaws their bagels before handing them to their customers. When it's all said and done, there are better hotels nearby. I would probably never stay here again.
can be busy. North Tower is said to be quieter and better. South Tower has 4 elevators but only 2 operational; the elevators seem slow and the doors open or close slowly. and when it's busy, may have at least a 15 minute wait compounded by the multitude of floors others exit to (waiting for everyone else when you're on the 14th floor...) the shower water takes a minute to warm up, so plan accordingly. the pull lever for switching between the faucet to the shower was stuck (almost felt like I'd knock the faucet off of I tried to hard). the lights flicker before warming up. the metal bases have a bit of rust on them. otherwise the room is decent. could bring a family, especially with the beach so close. there is a washer, dryer and microwave on the 4th floor in the south Tower. visit isn't over yet, so I'll update next week
This was our first experience taking my niece to the Dance Competition weekend. I feel that for the price and how busy the hotel is, they should ENSURE the elevators are in good working condition. That was an issue all weekend. The hotel itself could use some cleaning. We showered in ankle deep water because the water was EXTREMELY slow to drain and came from the bottom facet of the tub as well as the shower. The refrigerator did not work our entire stay. Rooms could use an update and the AC was not in great working condition. Took hours for our room to cool down. We also were met with an extremely rude front desk representative when we went to get clarification on how to get our belongings down stairs with the elevators not being in working condition and he replied with, "Y’all should know how this goes already. It’s the same event, just a different day". Being that this is out first time, we wouldn’t have known anything about this process. Parking is also a big challenge if your traveling with a family. I would not stay here again. I will say that the night front desk staff were fantastic when we checked in and the bellsmen were AMAZING and so helpful our entire stay.
We were visiting Daytona for the Daytona Jazz festival. 🎶 I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the friendliness, and the quiet beauty of the city. ✨ Before I get started, I want to first say that the service at this hotel was stellar. 🌟 Everyone, from the front desk to the bellmen and women, were the most friendly and helpful associates I have encountered anywhere. 😊 The value for the money was outstanding, and the location, convenience, and amenities of this hotel were perfect. 💯 My only criticism of the Daytona Hilton Oceanfront Resort is that the hotel needs a refresh! 🏨 Our room was comfortable and clean, but aesthetically the rooms left a lot to be desired. 😕 The age of the hotel was showing, the bedding was the most comfortable. I know the value aspect may not be the same if they improve the decor to a 5-star level, but I love beautiful hotels, and this was not one. 💔 The sunrises and sunsets from my Juliet balcony made me forget about it for an hour a day, but not having a full balcony, the aesthetics, and the aging look of the hotel were a disappointment for me. 😔 I must say that I still had a wonderful stay, the Daytona Jazz festival was fabulous! 🎷 #Daytona #Jazz #Festival #Cleanliness #Friendly #Service #Hotel #Value #Location #Convenience
