Ocean Walk Resort

Our family of 8 really enjoyed Ocean Walk resort. We rented a 2 bedroom private condo rental which suited our family's needs. Our condo had a kitchen with basic amenities so we were able to make our own meals. We were able to walk the .4 miles to the Ocean Center (the reason we were there) and there were many shops very close by. The resort itself had several pools/hot tubs which were enjoyed by our family. The lazy river and pool with the water slide were not heated during our stay the end of January (not sure if that is the normal) but the other outside pools were. The inside pool was also heated. We were able to walk out the pool gate and access the beach which was perfect. The waves were big enough for my kids to enjoy some boogie boarding. The only other amenity which we took advantage of was the mini golf course inside the building. They had soft golf balls and 5 little courses. It was part of a small arcade but you had to pay for the arcade games including air hockey so we just golfed.

Never ceases to amaze me! I’ve been coming to Oceanfront Resorts for a while now, and they still find ways to impress me. This past weekend, we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a massive room with two bedrooms and a stunning ocean view. ​The rooms were incredibly spacious—we had the beach right in front of our balcony! The staff remains some of the friendliest people I’ve encountered, and there are always plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the outdoor pools this time around, but everything else was perfect. We’ll definitely be back

The issues identified are as follows: • The heated pool is not heated. The water is cold, and the heating motor appears to be broken. • The pool area has a very strong chlorine smell. • The jacuzzi is not functioning. • One of the pools is completely isolated with signs indicating it cannot be used. • The entrance door to the pool area does not function properly. • The magnetic gate providing access to the beach area is broken; a staff member had to manually unlock it. • There is no hot water available in the designated heated pool area.

Staff was great and room was oceanfront!||We had a wonderful stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom and it was very spacious. I like to be high up so they put us on the 13th floor.||The weather was nice and the walks on the beach were so relaxing. We did do the Wyndham update and even though we didn’t buy anything they were very nice to us.They have activities during the day and at night but did not attend. I liked the texting for information and needs while our stay.

Our room was super clean with new furnishings. Location was great--oceanfront. Parking was free and very convenient. This resort is beautiful and seems to be managed very well. Even though our trip was in January, the weather was great with sunshine and highs in the 70's - 80's.

I wouldn't call this a luxury resort. Nice place on the beach. Had a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the 10th floor with a partial ocean view. Price was very reasonable for January in Florida. Was not expecting $250 deposit, but it was returned right away. The unit had new carpet, and that new carpet smell. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot with plenty of pressure and shower head was high for this 6'2" guy (important). Towels are rated needs improvement, although I did not use any of the 6 towels rolled up that were labeled for the pool...and also labeled that you would be charged if any were missing. You could tell they were starting to renovate, but hadn't finished. New carpet is great. Needs some TLC in the bathrooms - mold in the caulk, cabinets worn and loose hinges. Nothing major. I had wished I would have known about the hard sell for a vacation time share before we checked in. Just be ready. They will offer a couple "free" gifts. I finally had to stay no when they asked for a $40 deposit to do a time share meeting in a couple days...fully refundable of course, after you do the 90 minute sales pitch. Nice comfortable room though, mostly clean, kitchen was well stocked and appliances worked fine. I would go back.

The rooms have been updated. We were out of body wash and after texting housekeeping - someone was up in 10 min. Excellent service!! We had 2 mornings with no hot water... very random, we reported it on our way out. Very seamless check-in. Great location! We came to visit my mom and celebrate Christmas with here...so, did not participate in the amenities.
