We had a really lovely experience at Leaf Spa. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, and check-in was easy and relaxed. They took the time to make us feel comfortable and gave us a nice overview of the space, which immediately set the tone for the visit. The spa itself is beautiful and calming, and everything felt clean and well cared for. The temperature was comfortable throughout, and it was quiet and peaceful despite being located in a hotel. We arrived a little early for our appointment and were taken right on time, which we really appreciated. The massage was excellent—very professional and genuinely relaxing. My fiancé absolutely loved it, and it felt like the full experience we were hoping for. All of the amenities we used were spotless, and the overall vibe of the spa felt polished without being stuffy. Pricing was clear, there were no surprises, and the staff was helpful and kind from start to finish. Overall, it felt like a true treat and exactly what you want from a spa day. We left feeling relaxed and happy and would definitely come back. 🌿

Leaf Spa exceeded every expectation and delivered one of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making me feel instantly relaxed. The facilities are beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed with a calming atmosphere that sets the tone right away. Everything felt seamless and well-organized, and it was clear that comfort and client experience are a top priority. My 50-minute Swedish massage was absolutely incredible. The therapist was attentive, skilled, and perfectly tailored the pressure to melt away tension while still being deeply relaxing. I left feeling refreshed, loose, and completely recharged—both physically and mentally. The lingering sense of calm and lightness afterward was unmatched. Leaf Spa is truly a gem, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a high-quality, restorative spa experience.

To start, I have been to many luxury hotel spas all over the world & never had this bad of an experience. The man who did my massage, Chris, gave the worst massage I have ever had. His fingers were so dry & rough that they scratched. Also, it genuinely felt like this was the first massage he had ever given. He used little to no pressure after I asked to increase and he just like lightly rubbed my back? Very confusing. Regret not going somewhere else. We did use a Groupon for the first time so maybe this is on me. Also, turns out they are not associated with Fairmont, so please know they don’t even closely resemble a Fairmont spa. I gave them the extra star because they did change my sisters massage to a facial since she found out she is pregnant. The flexibility with that change was appreciated.

Massage Too hard bc I said I was sore from workouts and still not relaxing. Spa was beautiful and clean. It was empty and private which was nice. I didn’t smell any essential oils like menu described. I wanted some aromatherapy but nothing. Will not be back.

A most pleasant and positive experience had today at the Leaf Spa located inside the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park, during near blizzard weather and freezing temps! Ms. April at front desk was personable and kindly supportive; professional massage therapist Shanice provided the best 80-minute massage - I had the Winter Peaceful Pause. Spa is clean with lovely amenities. I found it overall peaceful and non pretentious. Thankfully due to this experience (exceeding expectations based on a few online reviews), I will return and do recommend this spa and technician to others. Note: A 20% service surcharge (forewarned of it ), pops up for some reason at checkout, however they will take care of it, just remember to question it.

I visited Leaf Spa for the first time today for a massage and Vanessa was amazing! I told her my neck and shoulders were tight and asked her to spend most time there and she did not disappoint. She kept checking on pressure and adjusting as needed and worked most of my knots out. I ordered the foot scrub which was a nice bonus. I would have expected some aromatherapy in the room or with the service but Vanessa’s magic hands made up for that. I also say in the steam room in the women’s locker room, which was just what I needed. I visited on a Tuesday and it was pretty quiet. When I’m back in the area, I will be back for more services!

I booked a massage at Leaf Spa as a birthday gift for my partner. When making the reservation, I was asked to provide my credit card details and was informed that this was the only way to secure the booking. At no point during the phone conversation was I informed that a cancellation would result in a 100% charge for the service. Unfortunately, shortly after booking—about an hour later—I had to cancel the appointment due to unexpected childcare issues. I fully understand that businesses have cancellation policies; however, had I been informed that canceling would result in a $400 charge for a service that was never provided, I would have made a different decision. I reached out to request, as a one-time courtesy, that the appointment simply be moved to another date so we could still enjoy the service. I was told someone would call me back, but a month has passed and I have not received any follow-up. In the meantime, the full amount was charged from my bank account. I believe that clear communication and timely follow-up are essential to a positive customer experience. Unfortunately, this situation was disappointing, and I hope this feedback helps improve transparency and customer care for future guests.
