I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lang Ocean Spa. I’ve been weightlifting consistently for years, and I carry a lot of deep, stubborn tension — the kind of knots that don’t budge easily. This is truly the only place that has been able to consistently work them out. The level of skill and intuition here is unmatched. They understand the body, how muscles function, and exactly how to target problem areas. Every session feels purposeful, therapeutic, and incredibly effective. I leave feeling lighter, more mobile, and genuinely restored. And beyond the talent — the owner is one of the kindest, most welcoming people you’ll meet. You can feel how much care and heart goes into this space. It’s not just a massage appointment; it’s an experience rooted in professionalism and warmth. If you lift, train hard, or simply hold tension — this is the place. I’m so grateful I found them.

My family members and I have been going to Lang for about 2-3 years now. Their space is always peaceful and immaculately clean. They always run on time with their appointments and do their best to accommodate you depending on your availability. I see the same girl every time for my Thai massages, but you truly can’t go wrong with any of their masseuses. Plus, their ownership is great!!! Truly the best Thai massage in the city. Especially if you’re an athlete or have chronic pain and need a more full-body, deep massage plus stretching, this is the place to go. I’ve referred numerous people to Lang and no one has had anything short of an A+ experience. Thank you!!!

I WISH I FOUND THIS PLACE SOONER. I have been looking for a place that offers full body DEEP tissue massage for years - I am not looking to be relaxed, fall asleep while getting lotion rubbed on my body. This was my first time getting a deep Thai massage and visiting this spa. The lobby was clean and I was greeted immediately. I got the 90 minute deep tissue massage as a walk in. They got me in a room right away. My masseuse was Kate, and she was FANTASTIC! I had been dealing with left neck and trapezius pain for the last week which has affected my sleep because I couldn't get into a comfortable position. Somehow she knew without me telling her and was able to patiently work out the knots in my traps and neck. I was heavy breathing and my palms were sweaty through some parts of it but it was exactly what I needed and wanted. She checked in multiple times to make sure I was doing ok which I appreciated because it allows the client an opportunity to speak up. She massaged me from head to toe without missing a muscle group for the full 90 minutes. My neck is already feeling SO much better. Between the stretching, hot stones, ashiatsu, and fair pricing this place is a HIDDEN GEM!!!!!!! The 5 star reviews are 100% accurate. I seriously cannot wait to go back with my husband for a couples massage.

Very serene. The massage was amazing. Lots of power behind those ladies. Theyre Very soft spoken and sweet. The guasha was amazing it felt like my insides were getting a backscratch I never knew my muscles and nerves needed to be scratched 😂 definitely worth the money as well as the hottest compress. They are very meticulous and detailed in massaging each part of your body. We did a couples 120 minute Thai body massage and it was worth it for the extra time. The ladies are very good at finding the worst parts of you with little direction and working out the kinks. The massage tables are very cushioned so laying on your stomach doesnt hurt for women. The material for the headrests felt scratchy on my face but not too bad. They have like a full section of windows with a lot of doors and doorbell so it was hard to figure out which to choose as all the windows listed different services. They have a nail salon and a head spa also which they gave us a coupon to afterwards. Either way we rang 2 different doorbell and got an answer within 5 seconds on each if them with a warm welcome. Parking is paid street parking we found parking as soon as we pulled up. I came with a hip foot and knee too sore to walk on which sucked a little since they have a flight of stairs down as soon as you walk in. But I was amazed leaving walking up the stairs with literally no pain. They offer cucumber water and candy in the little seating area and as soon as you walk in they have you take off your shoes and put on the comfy clouds I have ever stepped on I looked them up on Google immediately to buy them. Their bathrooms a big and clean. They have showers which I assume are to rinse off before or after your visit. If this were closer id do this once a month.

Best massage I’ve ever had! From the moment you arrive, the experience feels thoughtful and elevated. The space is spotless, and you’re asked to change into slippers upon entry. Every employee we encountered was kind and welcoming, and they even offer cucumber/melon water—which was delicious. A helpful tip for first-time visitors: there are stairs you’ll need to walk down once you enter the building. They also prefer cash or Venmo for payment, which wasn’t noted on the website, so it’s good to plan ahead. As someone not from the area, I wasn’t familiar with nearby ATMs. They were accommodating and able to process a credit card with a $7 fee for our service, which I appreciated. We did a couples massage with hot stone therapy and CBD oil, and it was exceptional. As someone who works in the salon/spa industry, I truly appreciated the attention to detail. The therapists are intuitive and massage based on your individual needs rather than using a predictable, cookie-cutter routine—you know the kind where you can guess exactly what they’ll do next. This was not that. The massage began with hot towels on our feet, an eye towel for relaxation, and gentle work over the sheet to warm the muscles before going deeper. The hot stones felt amazing and were used thoughtfully—never left in one spot long enough to cause discomfort. They incorporated stretching for our legs, back, and arms, and at one point even sat us up and used their feet to stabilize our backs while stretching our arms. Throughout the entire session, they were extremely professional, making sure we were always covered and never exposed. This was an intentional, high-quality massage from start to finish. If you’re looking for skilled therapists who truly customize the experience and prioritize comfort and care, this place is absolutely worth booking. I will 100% be back anytime I’m in the area.

Just visited Chicago and wanted to try a Thai Massage/Regular Massage…It was amazing! This massage was more intense, but I know my body needed it. Very clean and very nice employees. Highly recommend Lang Ocean Spa…DEFINITELY worth the time to experience a Thai Massage…Especially if you know your body needs it…I feel awesome now…Thank You! Aaron M.

I walked into this spa yesterday after reading the great reviews and was not disappointed! I got the Aroma Thai massage and it was amazing. I asked for deep pressure and thats what I got. I was super pleased with the service and it was very well priced. The place was very clean and serene. I can’t wait to come back!
