Beautifully designed space that curates a welcoming community experience. The staff was fantastic and their expertise allowed me to feel extremely comfortable and supported as a first timer. Cleanliness is top notch and Eastend will absolutely be part of my self care routine whenever I’m in Chicago.

Best way I can describe this place is that it’s just really REALLY nice across the board. The place is decorated, furnished, and maintained exquisitely. It feels very nice to even be in here, let alone take advantage of their services. These services are also fantastic. The cold tubs and sauna are fantastic, and the salt room had me feeling like I had a brand new pair of lungs when I was done with it. I cannot speak to the red light and other light stimulation bed as I have not tried. But they certainly look beautiful. Overall, place is a gem. Fantastic spot to recover, or honestly, just hangout with your friends while you all partake in the sauna cold plunge. *Nate, is also very pleasant and does an excellent job leading you through your group sauna sessions. 5/5

I held a private event with sauna and cold plunge for my 40th birthday and it couldn't have been better! The staff were very welcoming and greeted everyone with clear instructions. They even asked if I had any music preferences for the event. There were 26 of us and we could all fit in their spacious sauna at the start. We each found our own cycle times between sauna, cold plunge, and rest, and we weren't all in the sauna at the same time after the initial 15 minutes or so. There are four cold plunges, one set at 40 degrees and the others at 50 degrees. They're set across from a wall of clocks so you can monitor your time easily. The showers to use before the amenities were clean and spacious. The staff were wonderful during the event, constantly pushing excess water into drains to keep things nice and safe for us. They also maintained the sauna by spooning water onto the hot stones that included a eucalyptus/lemongrass aroma. The lounge area in the treatment space was spacious and included simple snacks, water, and tea. The changing rooms and lockers were tidy. They provided compostable bags to store your wet swimsuits and have a hair dryer if you want to use one. I honestly can't wait to come back. Eastend is a great option for sauna/cold plunge, especially when Chicago becomes Chiberia. Thank you so much for everything, Suman & team!

[3 visits in] Pricing $195 a month for unlimited Sauna and Cold plunge. I really don't think anything in Chicago can beat this if you're going around 3 times a week. Quality Super high quality, from the Sauna to the cold plunge to the whole facility. Supremely clean and modern, a joy to walk into. The free tea is such a cheat code to making it feel even cozier. And great, great window light, tinted so no one can see inside. Vibe Staff is extremely friendly. I've been able to strike up conversations with either patrons or staff each time I've gone. Summary Very high quality, and truly, $195 for unlimited Finnish sauna and cold plunge is the best deal I think there is in the city.

Flew from Toronto to Chicago for a weekend trip with friends and checked out Eastend during our visit. What a space!! The location was fantastic and we loved the loft vibes - tall ceilings, big windows, exposed beams. Didn’t get a ton of sleep the night before, but felt super rejuvenated after a sauna and plunge session (and lasted a whole two minutes in the plunge!). Also did the red light therapy treatment to help reduce inflammation for my psoriasis and loved the experience (it was super cozy and meditative, which was just what I needed after a hectic few days). Highly recommend checking out East for a wellness boost if you’re in Chicago - just wish we had one closer to home in Toronto (hint hint, nudge nudge, next location…?😋).

Gorgeous space, knowledgeable staff, amazing services. Was super excited to get to try this spot and it did not disappoint! I tried the contrast therapy (sauna + cold plunge) as well as the chromatherapy (the only one in the Midwest!). I’ve been feeling AMAZING all day. Natalie, our guide, was so helpful as well! Been telling all my friends about this space and can’t wait to come back.

We have loved our experience at Eastend. It started with a whole body class … we have gone now every weekend since. We have enjoyed the sauna, cold plunge (working on increasing my time) and learning how to do lymphatic massage. This is the one thing helping us get through this cold miserable winter. Highly recommend!!!!
