Grotto Massage and Head Spa

At first the staff seemed confused by our massage and foot reflexology appointments booked back to back but after 15 minutes of discussion that took up a portion of our massage, it was finally resolved. The next issue was that 2 of our group of 3 had to receive their massage services in a shared couples room. Why wasn’t that disclosed when I booked the appointments? The massages overall were very good. I guess I should reach out to the owner and let her know that her staff didn’t give us the best experience but since we were already refunded for one in our party due to another issue (burns from hot stones), I didn’t feel comfortable asking for another credit due to these additional two issues.

I really enjoyed my experience at Grotto Massage. I booked a 90-minute full body massage for $100, $130.00 total with tip. I think it was a great price point for a 90-minute full body massage, including hot stones. Selena was my masseuse, and she did a great job focusing on specific areas, made me feel very comfortable, and rejuvenated following the massage. I'd absolutely return!

Went in for a couples massage with my boyfriend on Saturday. I called ahead to let them know I am 5 weeks pregnant, and they said they were fine with that and able to still preform the massages. Well, they ended up putting me in the most uncomfortable position (laying on my side for an hour), pet my body and hair for an hour, and only rubbed oil on my right leg and completely neglected the left. My back hurt way worse after the session. I told them I was okay with more pressure on my neck and legs, and okay with laying on my stomach (I am in the medical field and know first trimester tummy time is fine). They said it would hurt the baby. As for my boyfriend, they stepped on his spine, the bones not the muscles. Waste of money and time. Please find someone who knows female anatomy and reproduction if you actually want a good massage.

My wife and I came here together and were able to schedule appointments for the following day. Incredibly satisfying. I asked for them to be hard, and this is the first place that truly lived up to that request. Very professional and relaxing staff and environment.

The best massage I ever had. The place was clean.Employees were nice. Coco is the most skilled and did amazing jobs .She did release my all knots and stiff muscles. Highly recommended this place.

First time ever getting a massage! Decided to do a couple massage since they had a great deal on Groupon. We traveled thirty minutes and it definitely was worth the drive. The location is above H&M on the second floor to the left of the building. Took us a few minutes trying to find it. We recommend making an appointment ahead of time as we noticed they were busy and turning walk in clients away due to being busy. We checked in and only waited a few minutes (not bad for a Saturday evening). We were taken back to a room where my husband and I got an hour long massage. Very efficient and I left feeling sore in a very good way! They were able to get many of my knots on my back out. Will definitely return due to great service.

Repeatedly asked for different pressure and speed and was ignored. Then the massage therapist stood staring at the front desk to make sure she received her tip while they charged me full price for a "deep tissue" massage. Massage therapist skipped over one calf, one foot, my entire lower back— after being asked to focus on lower body halfway through the massage. She claimed I booked a 90 minute so therefore the treatment given was because of the longer time. It was not even a Swedish massage or a relaxing one as she pushed so hard on my body with no pinpoint pressure for "deep" pressure. The massage beds are not heated and cold! They have thin disposable sheets and you can barely breathe through the dirty opening with exposed foam coming out of the broken table. Horrible establishment.
