Karma Spa, Massage in Carlsbad, Day Spa Carlsbad

Birthday win for both of us! I surprised my husband with a hot oil body massage at Karma Spa, and it was hands-down one of the best massages we’ve ever had. The attention to detail and muscle work was far beyond anything we expected. Huge shout-out to Peter and Cindy, true pros who know exactly what they’re doing. This was our first visit, but definitely not our last. We’re already talking about a monthly membership. Highly recommend… just don’t steal our favorites 😄

The private sauna is a really great experience. The space is clean, calm, and perfect for relaxing. The front desk girls are always very nice and helpful. It’s hard to find a good sauna experience in California when you’re spoiled with spas in Europe, but this one comes close.

My first visit here was because of a Groupon coupon. I usually do not expect an awesome service when I use Groupon but I was impressed. So I kept coming back and paying regular price. This spa is really clean and well maintained. All the masseuse I had here were all very nice. They always check on me if the pressure is okay. The lady at the reception is also friendly.

My daughter treated me to a nice relaxing aromatherapy massage with Jack and she had Amy. It was amazing 🤩 it’s been about a decade since I’ve had a massage, but it was much needed and I’m glad I went. I was a little apprehensive with the whole COVID thing, but the facility was very clean, they took our temperature and everyone had a mask 😷 so I definitely felt safe. Next time I’m booking 90 minutes.

Jessica at the front desk was super sweet and got me in same day! Checked temperature at check-in and got me set up with aromatherapy. Amy did a phenomenal job and worked on the areas I needed. Facility is clean and following COVID guidelines. Highly recommend!

My first time here. Massage and environment were okay. It was missing the spa aromas of other places I've been too. The spa room had UV purple lighting and it was almost un spa like--there was just a hot towel warmer and bottle of lotion in the room. Towards the end the masseuse lifted my feet up and let them drop, she then stretched me out--a bit weird.

Reluctant to review because I don’t want to share my secret about how amazing this place is! My partner and I have gone here multiple times and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The facilities are updated and the waiting room has a soothing aroma. In the treatment rooms, the massage tables are comfortable and the lighting is perfectly dimmed. All of our massages have been wonderful and we really enjoy getting the package deals with foot detox and sauna time. I highly recommend Karma Spa. Make sure to ask about the first timer’s special!
