I have been a client of Sarah’s for the past five years. When I first came in to see Sarah I had been over injected with filler by my plastic surgeon. Sarah was able to dissolve the previous filler and to properly fill in my burn scars. Sarah is a consummate professional and always available for questions or concerns. She is kind and always gentle with the feeling and my injections. I am so fortunate to have Sarah as the person who is my injector. As far as a review I read by Beckie Moore she appears to be squinting in the photo it is important to remember Godiva is a med spa and not a plastic surgeon practice. I think Beckie should consider a consult with a plastic surgeon.it is important to keep your expectations realistic.

Look Worse Than Before - Bad Injector Sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision. A friend referred me to Sarah at Godiva, They had a Groupon, so I tried it. I had been looking for a practitioner I liked. That turned out to be a big mistake. I’ve had Botox many times before. My previous provider of six years consistently achieved the result I wanted — lifted brows and a more alert, rested appearance. I know this outcome is achievable for me. I’m also very clear about my anatomy: when Botox is placed incorrectly, especially by someone who isn’t experienced with brow lift or lax skin, my eyebrows spike or, more often, my eyelids droop. At my consultation, Sarah and another provider were present, and I explained all of this clearly. I said numerous times that my entire goal was to lift my brows and raise my eyelids off my eyelashes. We discussed spiking and drooping if Botox is done incorrectly. When Sarah asked if I wanted my 11s and forehead wrinkles softened, I said yes — only as long as it would not interfere with brow lift. I explicitly said, "You’re the expert. As long as you think my eyebrows will lift." That did not happen. After the initial injections, my eyelids drooped so low they rested on my eyelashes. I lost the ability to raise my eyebrows. The center of my forehead was completely immobilized. I looked significantly worse than before treatment. I contacted Godiva requesting a correction. Sarah placed Botox in the upper regions of my forehead on each side. I experienced a very minor lift for about 24 hours, and then everything settled back down, with my eyelids again resting on my lashes. Sarah did not apologize or acknowledge that the outcome was not good. She told me to rub the center of my forehead to try to break up the Botox and mentioned she had placed "just a fraction" of what she normally uses there. This was frustrating given how clearly I had explained that drooping happens for me when placement is wrong and that lift was my only goal. I returned again. A different provider — who had been present at my initial consultation — acknowledged my concern and said she remembered that I wanted my eyebrows lifted and that this was not the outcome I wanted. She placed additional Botox in my upper forehead in hopes of creating lift. It did not work. After waiting again, I returned for another visit. Sarah injected saline into the center of my forehead in several places. During this appointment, she commented that I was "lucky" to have had such a strong response in the middle of my forehead and made remarks that clearly implied I was fortunate to have bangs to cover my forehead. There was no apology, no acknowledgment that the initial placement caused the issue, no mention of a refund or credit despite multiple visits and attempted corrections. For context, my initial injections were done before Thanksgiving. As of New Year’s Eve, the issue remains unresolved. This has been a long, frustrating process that left me looking worse than before I sought treatment. I’m sharing this so others — especially those seeking brow lift or who are prone to drooping — can make an informed decision.
