Spa Riverside

I used to really love Riverside Spa and came here often, but unfortunately my recent experiences have been disappointing. The spa is consistently cold now, which makes it hard to relax and enjoy the services. On top of that, the staff no longer feels welcoming. Several interactions came across as passive-aggressive rather than warm or professional, which was surprising given how friendly it used to be. I truly hope management addresses these issues because this place used to be a favorite of mine, but lately it hasn’t felt like the same spa experience.

I visited Spa Riverside on a Tuesday evening. I arrived at about 5:30 PM and stayed until 8:00 PM. I called ahead to reserve time for a body scrub and massage. When I arrived, I paid $90 which included the entrance fee and scrub/massage. I was given a robe, a key and a few small towels. I left my shoes and socks in the shoe locker. The locker room is small and has about 55 lockers. The floor is worn and needs some attention. There is also filtered water and four chairs in the locker room. The wet area has two scrub tables, six stand up showers, six sit down showers, a hot tub with jets, a cold tub, a steam sauna and a dry sauna. Adjacent to the locker room is also a quiet room with about five recliners. The scrub and massage was very good and the price was a bargain compared to other Korean spas in the area. Overall, it was a good experience. The only issues were that some repairs are needed and I feel that the facility could be a little cleaner. UPDATE - Visited Spa Riverside on a Sunday morning and got the Korean Body Scrub with Shiatsu (90-minutes). It was the first time that I've ever received a Shiatsu massage and it was excellent.

My wife and I visited Spa Riverside expecting a relaxing experience, but we were deeply disappointed. While the reception staff was professional and welcoming, the environment inside the men’s section was completely unacceptable. I witnessed multiple instances of lewd behavior and public sexual acts. This is a public spa, not a private club, and the lack of supervision or decorum is disgusting. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a respectful environment.

I was really disappointed with my visit to River Ride Spa. The facilities felt cold the entire time, which made it hard to relax. Cleanliness was a major issue. I noticed black speckled spots on the ceiling that looked like they could be mold, and there was hair piled up in the drains. Overall, the spa felt dirty and poorly maintained, and it wasn’t the comfortable or relaxing experience I was hoping for. Me and family have been coming for years, ever since i was 9 and seeing how much this place has degraded over the years is honestly shocking.

First timer to this sauna unlikely to return, front desk person immediately announced the price and handed me a robe and keys explained nothing very informal greeting. Upon entering you take off your shoes and head over to the lockers. Floors are a bit slippery to people coming out of the sauna room expected. Hot tub and cold plunge are big enough for 6 people but in reality it's big enough for 4 so no one is awkwardly touching each other. The steam sauna maybe has a seated area for like 4 people but you can't see anything in there so I don't know. My tipping point was the fact I was sitting in the dry sauna another person had came in sat down near me. I had closed my eyes trying to relax and sweat out. Upon opening them the other person was masturbating. What type of establishment is this!! I quickly left the sauna changed and left. I mentioned to front person and asked about the other dry rooms "clay",salt, aromatherapy room he stated I don't know I guess it's for the women. I had also let him know about the person in the dry sauna he literally just shrugged it off. Do better know who your clients are cause that is unacceptable.

Spa Riverside is a nice, relaxing spot. The space is a little small and shows some age, but it’s still clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The atmosphere is calm, and the staff was pleasant and professional, which made the experience enjoyable. Overall, it’s a nice place to unwind, and I left feeling relaxed.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. My first time coming here, and all I can say is that I can't believe I didn't know about this spa. Very clean, organized, and the lady who pampered me (Kim) was wonderful! Spa is small and intimate, which is exactly what I wanted. Many things offered (steam sauna, hot tub, cold tub, salt room, and dry sauna). Body scrub was super thorough, followed by an oil massage, hair shampoo, and a mask on my face. Can't wait to go back again! This was my first time at a nude spa, but I felt very comfortable here.
