A true hidden gem. By far the best place in town to get a lobster roll. Not only is the pricing fair, but the quality is exceptional. Other wonderful seafood options as well - the fish and chips were amazing! Everything is so fresh and quality is truly a top priority here. If you are looking for a great meal, look no further!

This was the one of the best lobbie rolls I’ve ever had. I’ve had them all- Neptune, High Roller, Eventide, Bob’s- the amount of lobster in the roll and the grilled buttered bun sets Trapped in York apart from the rest. Pricing was better, too! Get a side of the Trapped Fries as well- a mix a hand cut potatoes and sweet potatoes served up with an amazing garlic aoli. I’ll be back many times!

I had the Squash Blossom Fritters. They were to die for! Just delicious! Stuffed with a delicious lobster mixture. Also had small order of belly clams. They were cooked perfectly and scrumptious! Just loved their homemade tartar sauce. Staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

Outstanding! Saw this on Ken Oringers Instagram and it really was perfectly executed. It’s right next door to Southern Maine lobster who must provide the lobster and then it was the perfect mix of ingredients with perfect whole lobster pieces. We had a 6oz roll and split it. And the chocolate custard was amazing!

Lobsters rolls from Trapped was a bomb. It was fresh and a lot of Lobster meats. The cook was not stinky on the Lobster at all. Also try chocolate custard 🍮.
