Bonchon Worcester - Gold Star Blvd

Hands down the best Bonchon experience I’ve had! The Korean fried chicken here in Worcester is absolutely unreal – that perfect crispy exterior and juicy inside is on another level. The staffs were super friendly. Honestly felt like they actually cared about the food coming out great. Will 100% be back – probably way too often 😅 Highly recommend if you’re craving real-deal Korean fried chicken!

I ordered food for pickup through UberEats. I was a little worried when I walked in, because I saw several groups waiting on their food. I was nicely surprised when the person behind the counter called my name within 2 minutes of my arrival. After looking at some of the photographs online, I must say I set my expectations low. My expectations were greatly exceeded though. I think the only negative is the amount of street corn in the container seemed much less than pictures online. I was hoping my wife and I could share it, but it was only filled to about a 1/4 of the container. The MoPo Corndog was an awesome surprise in taste, and it went well with the cucumber wasabi sauce. The chicken I ordered was spicy, and it tasted great and the heat stuck around. On my next order, I will definitely add more dipping sauces. I had incorrectly assumed the things we ordered like the chicken and Potstickers would come with some dipping sauce. Overall we were happy with our food and experience.

The service was great aside from having to wait an hour between standing in line and waiting for the food. It was worth the wait, the food was good. The Korean BBQ chicken was crunchy and had a spicy kick. The MoPo Corn dog was my favorite thing to try.

It is fast food, order at the counter, clean up after yourself, but the food is really good Korean chicken, rice, udon noodles, kimchi, bulgogi, potstickers, omurice, and more. The price was good considering large portions. They got it out quickly and were attentive.

We observed that on its second day of operation, despite a substantial queue, the service moved efficiently. The staff demonstrated exceptional friendliness and were adept at guiding first-time visitors through the ordering process. Despite a high volume of orders, the food was prepared flawlessly and packaged with precision. The wings were cooked to perfection and exceptionally flavorful. The sauce application was meticulously balanced, enhancing the overall taste. This establishment specializes in Korean-style double-fried chicken, a signature offering of the Bonchon franchise. For patrons familiar with the Bonchon experience from the Allston location, this establishment effectively recaptures the original quality and taste that preceded its sale. The food is consistently delicious and prepared to an excellent standard.

In the first weeks, don't get irritated at the huge wait times and lack of online ordering. The staff was smiling and pleasant even though it's insanely busy. Took me over 90 minutes to order and get my food. I was perfectly fine with that. Once I got it, I loved it! The bulgogi bibimbap doesn't look like anything special, served to go in a plastic container, but it was sufficiently fresh and delicious. I do wish you got a little bit more or that the price was cheaper. Also got the corn dog. There is no dog, lol. Still tasted amazing with the kewpie mayo! The Yangnyeom sauced drumsticks were fantastic! The famous BonChon crunch was perfect. The sauce so delicious and the chicken amazingly juicy! I absolutely loved it and it's here you'll see really good value. Huge drumsticks. I'm gonna eat well for lunch tomorrow!

Ok I waited for a while after all the hypes over to try out this Bon Chon location. I have been dining at Allston, Lowell, Waltham and Quincy locations. They are all fine. I meant the wings are fine. But this place does not have the same wings, I tried 6 wings and they were not crispy like other locations. I will come back after a month to try again, this place just opened not too long,I am sure they will improve. The young lady at the front is very nice and helpful, I give her that! Overall seems like there aren't enough workers so everyone is tired of waiting for their food. There was a man who was waiting there and telling me seriously he had been waiting for 1 hour. In my opinion, this place just opened not long ago so we should give them more time to improve, I will be back.
