Be sure to stop before they close for the December holiday break! Love all the speciality grilled oysters (Creole is just perfection with a hit of Tapatio). The best scallop ceviche I've ever had! Always a go to. Love that you can bring your own beverages and food. Awesome local eatery steps from the beach!

This place is so good. The food is amazing and the service is super friendly. Can’t beat the beachside location, right by the sand and water. I’m happy a place like this exists and I hope they continue to be a part of what makes Ventura great. You get a free 60 minute parking pass when you go through the gate.

Definitely a place you can't miss!!! The oysters and scallop ceviche was fresh and delicious, like an ocean party in my mouth!!! San Buena Ventura state beach allows 1 hour free parking if you just want to eat and go!! The beach is a 2 minutes walk over some beautiful sand dunes and I suggest to bring the entire family and make a whole day of this beautiful and delicious place! The staff is very helpful and it is cashless so bring your plastic!! Enjoy

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this place. The service was excellent, the food was excellent, and the atmsphere was excellent! I can see myself making the two hour drive to Ventura just to visit this one place. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this spot. Next time I'll bring a picnic and make a real meal of it.

Self serve, plenty of tables for large groups, excellent staff (shoutout Zach!), and the BEST oysters. Habanero butter oysters changed my life for the better.

Perfect spot to enjoy fresh Oysters! You can make a picnic out of it with friends or family. We saw others had brought snacks, alcohol etc, were using the little grills available by the tables. The shucked oysters were very good. I loved the oyster taco! Scallop ceviche tasted fresh and delish. We took uni home and shared amongst myself and hubby. Would love to go back during summer time.

Stopped by for a quick meal before heading home from Ojai on Sunday. I hadn't been there in years and it was all I remembered and more! Pleasantly greeted when we arrived, ordered our oysters and took some home to shuck on our own. Weather was perfect and it was a great way to end our day. Til next time!
