The Old School - Korean Kitchen

Recently visited a newly opened Korean snack shop called The Old Schools with a friend, and everything we tried was amazing—jjolmyeon, tteokbokki, kimbap, and the perfectly crispy assorted fritters. The flavors instantly brought me back to the tastes I remembered from childhood. I definitely want to go back to try more dishes, and I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Korean street food!"

The restaurant looks like it was transportated from the streets of Seoul, Deagu or... The entire country. From the tables, menus, water carafes, to the music. The only thing missing is a little buzzer and a drawer in the table with silverware.I lived in South Korea for years and this was a great first impression. Ordered the bulgogi bibimbop. It arrive sizzling and steaming to the table. I let it sizzle so the rice could get crispy on the bottom. Since a second entree is half off I order kimchi soup, one of my favorites, for lunch tomorrow if I can wait that long The most memorable part is the nostalgia. They have spicy, pork kimbap, moduguk ( dumpling soup) and vegetable tempura. This is my new Friday night...I have to work my way throug menu and verify it's authenticity... for research purposes of course.

The restaurant food is good and filling for the price. They have a buy one get one free deal for all regular items so for once a party of 3 could eat for $30. What a throwback to better times. The only thing i didn't like was how salty the fish cake soul was, but it might be due to personal taste.

Had a couple times already, still have so much more to try! Absolutely love their tteokbokki, gimbap, and oh the kimchi stew was beyond my expectation. Inside is very clean and cozy

The rose tteokbokki, tuna kimbap, and fried udon were amazing! I’m such a fan of Korean-style food, and this place really hit the spot. I’ll definitely be back. Looks like a new place too—the vibe is super clean and nice.

One if the best places I have been to. The people are so friendly and the food is so amazing. This place is the perfect dining spot. I have been telling everyone I know about this place because I want to share the experience of this place. I 1000% recommend coming here.
