Customer Reviews
Kiku Japanese Steak House has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 based on over 1088 reviews on Google
A lively and entertaining teppanyaki experience, with the chef tossing shrimp and engaging the table throughout for a highly interactive meal. The food itself was surprisingly flavorful - everything from chicken to scallops and vegetables was well cooked and rich (with very generous use of butter). Always a fun and memorable experience when visiting.
It was hyped up so I was not impressed as I have been to these types of places in other cities like Kansas City and Chicago. I also found it over priced for the quality. The chef’s are so impressive I gave them all the cash I had with me and wished I could give him more. I do recommend Kiku especially if you have never experienced Japanese cuisine in this fashion. I think it helps to also mention you sit with 6-10 people in a half circle around a flat top grill and the chef cooks to order in real time. Prepare to sit with strangers unless you can fill a table.
My daughter and I were having. Mother daughter day ,and was suggested by our tattoo artist to try them out. So we went there and omg we absolutely loved the service and just everything about the place was a great experience. They were all just nice in every way. And their food WOW it was just prefect on flavors of everything. I’m picky in certain foods being cooked and he did awesome. That guy was fantastic. Just over all the Hospitality was great. I gave five stars all around. We got service like we were at the best place in town. And either way we had the best service on everything. Props to there staff.. keep up the great work you do to make our stay wonderful. Our first time we sure would come back again. I don’t have nothing but great things to say about this place. Thank you again.
I came to Kuki for hibachi. I stayed for what can only be described as a dual-chef, back-to-back culinary rap battle conducted entirely with spatulas and unchecked confidence. Two chefs stood shoulder to shoulder, grills blazing, trading bars while cooking at full speed like the Food Network meets 8 Mile. I don’t know who won, but we all did. Now let’s talk food. My filet was cooked perfectly, which deserves its own standing ovation because anyone who’s eaten hibachi knows that filet on a flat-top grill is a high-risk operation. Tender, juicy, flawless. Respect. The onion volcano wasn’t just impressive—it was the size of Hawaii. I’m pretty sure it had its own ecosystem. Lava (steam) levels were aggressive. Tourists would have taken photos. And then… the machine-gun shrimp throwing. Rapid fire. Unrelenting. Shockingly accurate. Shrimp flying through the air like edible bullets, landing straight into mouths. Zero casualties. True professionals. This wasn’t dinner—it was dinner and a show and a minor athletic event. If you’re looking for subtlety, go elsewhere. If you want perfectly cooked steak, culinary chaos, and chefs spitting bars while launching seafood projectiles, Kuki is the move. Would 100% return. Possibly wearing protective eyewear next time.
Immaculate beautiful Japanese teppanyaki and sushi restaurant, amazing service, absolutely fun and delicious. Great drinks and generous portions. We will be back!
Food and service is normally good. Must be new management because we asked for our favorite chef and were told NO. No reason why we couldn’t wait for him. The previous owners accommodated us every time. Why would we spend that much money to eat food that is not as good as what we could of had if we had our chef. Ridiculous.
From beginning to end the total experience was nice. The establishment was clean and welcoming, the staff friendly. Our chef was definitely experienced and personable. The food of course is fresh and plenty ( huge portion s) being they make it right in front of you. Thumbs up!
