Kickback Jack's Suffolk

My family and I were having a birthday get together at a steak joint just down the street and after waiting for over an hour past our appointment time we called kick back jacks. Without any heads up they were willing to accommodate us ( a party of 14) and we received phenomenal service and food. My hats off to the staff for being so generous and welcoming.

Stopped by here around 8:30 pm on Wednesday night for some quick food and drinks. No wait time, though the inside was decent packed, surprisingly. The waiter was quick and attentive on putting in our drinks and appetizers/food to be made as soon as we sat down. Noticed that the menus for food and drinks looked different since my last time visiting, which was interesting. I started with their Honey barbecue boneless wings (10/10), they were cooked with a little crisp to the skin and the flavor was actually really good. Also had the Bacon cheese fries (7/10), I love when food comes out fresh and melty, but these came out as if they sat for a minute with the cheese already congealed and stuck to the paper. For drinks, I tried their Strawberry passion daiquirita and Life’s a peach, both fell short on flavor (as far as what the menu stated what they were made compared to how they came out tasting) for me (5/10). I was def disappointed in my drinks for the night. I do see myself going back, but I just hope the next time the drinks are better. My overall rate of experience : 7.3/10

Our server was great. The huge water glasses were fantastic! I had the pan seared salmon without the seasoning and it was perfect. My husband had the Cuban sandwich and the seasonal sweet potato fries. We shared the hot fudge cake for dessert. The football games were on since it was a Sunday afternoon, so that was perfect. Will definitely come back!!!

Food really greasy, food didn't come all out together, and incorrect. They fixed it but still very greasy. Typical chain restaurant.

We were a party of 15 for a birthday and had two waitresses. One side got the best waitress, and we got the worst. She always kept disappearing, and even the other waiter had to hunt her down to order our alcoholic beverages. She kept forgetting our refills, brought our food to the wrong end of the table, and didn't do our refills until when we were about to leave. She didn’t deserve the tip she got and only got it because they assessed a gratuity. We would’ve let extra if she had been a better waitress but she didn’t deserve more than a couple dollars. The food was great though. Wings were top tier and the broccoli was perfect. We finished our delicious food but service is important and we will not be back of our own volition. We would’ve done better waiting at Texas Roadhouse instead of going to kickback Jack. The quick wait time should’ve been our red flag.

I ordered wings to go, and they were very tiny. I put a water bottle for scale. I only were the tiny. They were practically meatless and instead of celery they gave me a bowl of lettuce.

Our waitress/bartender Laura was great! The food was cooked as ordered and on point! Other servers came by and grabbed our finished plates on their way past. The manager,Gina, stopped by just checking on us. And other tables as well. Overall, a very good experience. We will definitely be back!
