Gourmet Burger Bistro

Lunch visit around noon on a Friday. Street parking only, no meters that I noticed. Great atmosphere. Gold-and-black interior with tall ceilings makes the space feel upscale and larger than it is. Lighting is excellent, music is smooth but could be slightly quieter. Clean dining room and bathrooms, which is always a good sign. Service was outstanding. Randy was welcoming, attentive, and professional. Food arrived in about six minutes. Ordered the Major Way burger, traditional wings, colossal shrimp, and fries. The burger sauce is the star. Creamy, balanced, and necessary, as the patty itself is more subtle on the inside than the outside. Bun could use toasting for better structure. Fresh toppings. Wings were crispy and moist with good size, though I think some seasoning burns off in the fryer. Shrimp were excellent with great texture and seasoning. Fries were phenomenal. Fresh-cut, twice fried, and lightly dusted with I think honey BBQ. Best item on the table. House-made fruit punch was excellent, and prices are extremely fair for the quality. In bigger cities, this food would cost much more. This spot easily outperforms fast food nearby and is absolutely worth a lunch stop

Have been a customer since this location opened and both the food and service are normally great. Today unfortunately food was delivered that was completely inedible. Ordered the sticky wings and they still have FEATHERS clearly attached. I am disturbed that the chicken was not properly cleaned and prepared. It is insane to me that a chef cooked these wings, fried them with feathers still clearly attached, and packaged them for a customer to consume . Wings should have never left the restaurant and been delivered.

From CA passing through and craved a non-chain burger. Per Google, this was an option…but after checking photos, couldn’t pass up on the cheesesteak…..uhh…they should update their name, I don’t care what the burger tastes like lol this Boss steak thing is OMG amazing!! And pics did do it justice!! I opted for provolone instead of American sans cheese sauce as well…and it was the perfect richness! The meat seasoned so well +onions/peppers cut/cooked the way I like, and the texture of cooking was just how I would! The bread broooo….gotta take a 30 before I can try the pies 😃

This was a great find! The food and service was top notch, and the everything sauce was so good, we put it on everything. We highly recommend this establishment and wish one was in Mobile Al area! It was so good we went twice in 4 days!

Delicious my wife ordered takeout tonight and it was amazing food and she enjoyed chatting with what I assume is the owner. It was so yummy. The boss cheesesteak is legendary. The bacon cheese fries and onion rings also slapped.

We’ve been on a "best burger" hunt across multiple states. Sort of like Barstool Sports and pizza. This is a solidly great burger with a fresh juicy taste and quality ingredients. We’re definitely coming back!

Excellent food and really love the chairs and the art! We each had a burger. I had the Major way with onion rings, and my sister had the Smokey Joe with sweet potato fries. All was perfectly prepared and served in nice biodegradable basket. The people were so nice and welcoming. I'm looking forward to going back!
